The updates were all finished, then I was presented with a screen that was supposed to redirect me to an internet page where I could log in. However, the page failed to load and I couldn't refresh it. So I closed out, and ran it again. Now I get this.

I couldn't update my client and am now reinstalling the client and downloading the updates.
At first it gave me "Final Fantasy XIV has stopped responding", now it gives me one of those blue errors and sends me back to the main menu. So hopefully it's the servers still being down or messed with a bit and not that the hardware mouse messed it all up even with the backup.

Though I wish they would enable hardware mouse without us having to interfere with the files.
I bought a wired Xbox 360 controller. Works pretty good and makes the game playable until then.

You can plug the charger cable for the controllers into the PC and use MotionJoy to emulate as a gamepad or a 360 controller.
Oh fuck I'm gonna take this Xbox controller back then and get one. Does the charger cable come with the controller?
