It goes to a black screen with your place in queue. It was stuck at 31 then I tried again another 100 times and I got in. So much fun!

You do. There's no Beta key. You're given access to a special site.
Yeah they give your square enix account (which you use to log into the game) access to the website where you can download the client etc.
Ok, so I got like .000000001 fps on the benchmark and now I'm sad.
I don't have a PS3 either and it's not coming to the 360. I'm fucked . (And I got FF11 for 5$ on the steam sale the other day and now I love this again.)
I know I could upgrade but my case is small and moving my computer into a new case is hard cause I've got a dell.

Using my current 9800 GTX+ card and 650W PSU. Putting this all in an Antec 900 Two case. After I purchase those 4 items, I'm going to continue buying parts as I save money. I plan to get a SSD and another set of that RAM. That i5 is just fine for gaming, it gets about 10 fps less than the i7 model.

oh and i just got a xonar ds sound card, it's really nice.
The camera rotation with mouse needs a lil' fixing, but the rest was good. Graphics were powerful and I assume I was running on lowest settings.
The mouse cursor really needs to be fixed. Either that or the game is just really lagging that badly for me. Probably the latter.

The mouse thing is a known problem. I hope it gets fixed.
I say with confidence that I think SE will iron out all the major issues by release. They've put out two bug fixing patches in the last week and they're really listening to some of the suggestions for changes. I'm running a completely shitty system and I'm having a blast playing.

Just brought an ATI HD 5770 yesterday and it improved my FPS a lot, I still get random drops down to 25 though. I'm using an Xbox 360 controller until they fix the mouse lag.
