blizzard doesn't give a fuck if you play on a private server, they just shut down the larger ones if they can

Yup, it's very unlikely. I doubt they will specifically target people that are playing on private servers. If however they do decide to do this it's not that hard to detect it.

Private servers have bad communities in most cases. It's like Runescape's horde of 10 year olds.

Nobody will ban you for playing there, you just probably won't be able to talk with big portion of people, as Czech youth is mostly very bad at English (even worse than me), but plenty of people will be still able to talk with you. Momentarily the main server is running at TBC 2.4.3, dev team is now working on 3.2.2a blizz server (test already running, but far from quality of the main server) The main server has over 2000 players in-game at peak (2098 right now). The server claims to be 100% Blizzlike. If nothing different, at least all XP and drop rates are all 1x. There are no added items at all. You can currently buy server credits to buy these special items which are not useful for anything aside from toying around, like the unique tabards, minipets or mounts which you could normally get only from the TCG or some other promotions. There is no way you could get any in-game gold, experience or ANY equip from the GM's. Everything you get (except for the other way unobtainable TCG items) is only from clear drops. I can't compare it with other private servers nor offic function wise, but I can tell you that it's extremely well made. 90% of the bosses are done with extreme precision, including special events like path moved NPC's, various complex spell sequences (like breaking Maghteridon's AOE wiper using these box things), and other things. If you gave somebody just basic description on how the boss is supposed to work (like the Wowhead boss description), most of the TBC dungeons would be be deemed genuine.

The severs will go down somtimes, but not much, and only for about 15 mins max, when they do go down its only for about 2-3 mins.

You violate the EULA/TOS, that's a reason. Again, they don't care if you're paying the small sum of $15 a month, they make billions, your $15 a month isn't going to be even noticeable.

I spend like 50$+ a week on just school crap and shopping. If you cannot afford 15$ in a month, then that's kinda sad.
