So he can chase better. It's situational. A ganking Lich might want Phase boots, while a supporting Lich will probably benefit more from Arcane boots.
Tranquil Boots work also really nicely on Lich, especially considering you can disassemble them for your Mek later on.
Why is Phase boots recommended for Lich and not Arcane Boots?
because he has infinite mana already
because he has infinite mana already
Arcane Boots helped me quite a bit early to mid game. I could spam the shit out of my spells and never run out of mana.
Arcane Boots helped me quite a bit early to mid game. I could spam the shit out of my spells and never run out of mana.
but you can already do that with lich lol
It's great early & mid game for your team-mates, too. Consistently generating pure mana for the team can help certain heroes from getting mana-starved during or after fights!
but you can already do that with lich lol
It sacrifices pushing power, and, Ice Armor is good for not dying to melees. (The extra armor also saved me a rare time) Also, with arcane boots you can literally just spam Q and W all the time and never run out of mana, usually you do that, but then suddenly you use R and oops your outta mana.
It sacrifices pushing power
But that's a good thing ? Lich is picked with hard carries, and if you push, he can't farm safely.
But that's a good thing ? On the other hand, I was in a team with no carries, so I guess it doesn't count. (Apparently Lich is a carry according to other people) Whatever I'm probably wrong anyways, at least I am right in liking arcane boots more.
On the other hand, I was in a team with no carries, so I guess it doesn't count. (Apparently Lich is a carry according to other people)
What the fuck.
What the fuck.
2 people said that.
I meant that for when you generally want to push towers, which sometimes happens, what if that one creep crippled your success?!
fortunately by eating that one creep you can frost blast 75% of the health off their creep wave so it still comes out as a positive for your side
What survivability item do you guys go for on Naga? I'm torn between PMS, Vanguard, or just simply going for a Ring of Aquila I've also heard Heart but that's if you make her a Radiance carrier, which I personally think is a massive waste

What can you do if you find yourself out-farmed? Farming the lanes or the jungle don't seem to generate enough gold to get to the high-end items..
What do you guys build on Bane after arcane boots? I build BKB, Ghost Scepter, then Aghanim's/Scythe
What do you guys build on Bane after treads? I build BKB, Ghost Scepter, then Aghanim's/Scythe
I don't build treads on Bane. [editline]22nd July 2012[/editline] But I love to pick Necro 3, BKB and Blink Dagger (in that order).
What can you do if you find yourself out-farmed? What do I do if I'm a carry like say, Faceless Void, and we are mid game, but I have gotten almost no farm because some other carry decided to go to the lane I called out? Participating in teamfights gets me nowhere, I might get ONE kill if I use the ulti of whoever I play as, but that's it. There was a match I just gave up on trying to defend, seeing as I just died over and over again. I farmed a bit in jungle, got some shit, but it was far too late.

[editline]22nd July 2012[/editline] Thats if you're not really doing much/dying a lot in teamfights.
Any tips on bounty hunter regarding items?
Medallion. Also usually i give 1 point to invis and max out Jinada, Shuriken.
Do you guys think Battle Fury would stack with Lanaya's (Templar Assassin) passive?
Do you guys think Battle Fury would stack with Lanaya's (Templar Assassin) passive?
She is considered a ranged hero so no.
So Wisp. How 2 play. Do I just keep myself tethered to my butt buddy the whole time? And support by shooting things?
So Wisp. How 2 play. Do I just keep myself tethered to my butt buddy the whole time? And support by shooting things?
Get mana boots and mekansm. If you are tethered to someone and use either of them, the person on the end gets double. One point in Q to start with, max spirits, then overcharge. Get ult when you can. It would be wish to tether yourself to melee carries, particularly ones that need mobility, Ursa, Lifestealer, etc. Use overcharge when they're giving/taking damage and use spirits for general damage. If you can, use ult to gank people across the map, it is very effective with people like Sand King or Tiny.

Urn is also really good because it buffs you up a bit (you're probably going to be taking a beating due to the nature of your skills), you can get double heals from it too, and you should be involved in a lot of ganks once you hit level 6 so you should easily accumulate lots of charges. If you do really well the best luxury items you can get are Heart and some sort of mana regeneration, like Scythe. This lets you become a mobile fountain and you can basically just keep Overcharge on constantly to give everyone mana and HP back.
Is that videopray guy still around? If so, I can make an OP for him, complete with content and such.
