Vlads is a good item to have on your team as AM since you get lifesteal from mana burn but its a massive waste of gold and an item slot on him, supports should get it

Vlads is always good overall. Supports should pick it up more often.

Vlads is the most overrated item ever on carries and one of the most underrated item on supports, don't think I've ever seen a support buy one

vlads is not "always good" it's incredibly [I]incredibly[/I] situational situation 1: your team is made of 5 melees situation 2: you are ursa or lycan that's it, it's overpriced garbage otherwise

2k may be "overpriced" in the early game, but it also stacks with other lifesteal effects.. that's alot of healing for the amount of team-fights that happen during a match..

If a carry is having a hard time and needs to be involved in teamfights more than AFK-farming, then they sometimes build Vladimir's Offering and Vanguard because it tanks you up a lot and gives you a bit of damage to help you in teamfights.

And for the love of god though don't go vlads first unless you're Ursa or Lycan. I'm tired of seeing Rikis and Antimages going treads vlads. They always suck. It's a nice item but getting your Yasha/Battlefury or Diffusal first is going to give you far more damage than 15% of your low damage due to having nothing else.

When I get a little farm, I turn the ring into tranquil boots, keeps you fast, and provides the ability to hang in lane. Then I rush good ol' Battlefury. After that, I might keep goin and get a Manta or I will disassemble the boots into a vlads and get treads. Then it's just time to buy whatever the hell you want.

not really related to a certain character, but can i get some help with micro management? how do i make it so i can control 1 certain unit by pressing a hotkey, for example for Brewmaster ulti i want to set 1-2-3 for each split.

Same reason why you don't get soul ring on clinkz or bounty hunter is because their HP is precious, just like phantom lancer, and you can get better stuff for 800 gold. but Clinkz can buy Soul Ring because it works well with his ultimate. People buy Soul Ring & Tranquil Boots on Lancer sometimes too.
