Use spells to kill, instead of harassing The nature of her Starfall is that it's meant for following up after an Arrow and Leap to kill
So Jakiro. My general build for him is basilus first, then wand and then mek. After that it's either cloak then pipe if the team has a lot of spell users or a cloak otherwise. Luxury item is usually a force staff. My general strategy is to harass using dual breath, max liquid fire first and then begin to push towers. I generally use ice breath for stopping enemies from escaping or as an initiation for my team. And my ult, I use whenever I feel like I need to deny the enemy team from ganging up (I usually lay it down right in front of them so they either find a way around or take the damage and risk dieing.) or when I've frozen multiple people with teammates nearby to help me finish them. Is this a decent strat for Jakiro?
I keep having mana issues with Mirana. Any thing I should do to counter that? Or should I just use spells less?
Ring of Basilius/Aqulia?
I have a really risky PA build, I start with a shield and a quelling blade and one tango which often works well since I can avoid dmg, put 1 lvl into phantom strike and blur and max dagger. I get my ult at 6 11 and 16, since if you get it at 6 it greatly increases your chances of getting easy kills in lane. It works, unless they have mass disablers. I then go phase > battle fury > basher > mkb > basher into abyssal > aegis > (rapier if stomping vs asshats who dont know how to play, if not) > another battle fury for team 1 shotting action if the game is still going and we aren't pushed down to their ancient. Can i get some criticism on this build?
Use spells to kill, instead of harassing The nature of her Starfall is that it's meant for following up after an Arrow and Leap to kill
Problem being extended pushes. When I'm going with my team, I'll use my abilities to take down some guy, then use them again during a team fight, and I'm forced to go back for mana because tiny mana pool.
Tell me, what are the ideal targets for Hand of Midas? Let's say I face a camp of 2x Ursa Warriors, the big red one, and the small brown one. Should I midas the bigger or smaller one? I mean, midasing the big one gives 190gold + 4x the exp of big creep + the normal exp from it, but no normal bounty gold from the hard creep. And if I midas the small easy creep, I get 190gold for it, but 4x the exp of the easy creep that doesn't give much exp anyway, so which one is smarter to midas?
early game, big creeps mid/late game, small creeps you need levels early game, not massive amounts of gold

Late game, when you are getting gold only and not xp, you midas the weakest creep.

Failing that, try something that give syou extra mana- A bottle is standard, but you could also try a Medallion of Courage or even a higher tier item like Linken's or Orchid. [editline]28th August 2012[/editline] I decided to play a game as Enchantress. I did okay, But died a ton form magical burst. Is Linken's/BKB a worthwhile item on her, or should I just learn to deal with it? I went Mek/Aghs/Orchid because no one on my team thought they should get a Mek.
I like going the Manta Style build on PA, keep in mind her usual one is often better, but I love playing this one. Power treads, Yasha, diffusal blade, manta, then depending on the game; linkens or any kind of stat item that will also improve the illusions. This build works better than you think, your illusions crit pretty nice.
He's not played in comp because he's a hyper-hard carry like Spectre and Medusa.
I know I'm a bit late to this alch flaming contest but the reason he isn't played in comp is because not only is he a hyper-hard carry, he's an absolute garbage hyper-hard carry. People in this thread have said "Wow hes so good once you get mjol, radiance, and AC!!!". Yeah but so is any other carry with that gold. Put that on an AM, Lycan, Naga, Morphling, etc. and you will have far better results. Alchemist simply sucks because he has no gap closer, his stun is the worst in the game, and he is easier to kite than ursa. And as a hyper-hard carry, his scaling is pretty terrible all things considered. A maxed out alchemist is an absolute joke compared to a TRUE hyper-hard carry like Medusa. Spectre is even better because even if you kite spectre around (which is still difficult due to the dagger) or stun lock her, she is tanky as all hell and not only is she doing a constant 22% blademail to your ENTIRE TEAM she is absorbing your focus and letting the rest of her team annihilate you. If you choose to focus on the rest of the team, she still hurts due to radiance, her auto attacks, diffusal mana burn if picked up, etc.
Retarded move by me sorry.
Happens all the time for me. :)
Aww, I like it when people fart out heart-ratings to each other :)

That's a lot of farm. I'm not saying he isn't under-powered, but he is not a worthless hero. He has a (unreliable) stun, a -armor spell, the best goddamn farming mechanism in the game, and a very low BAT and crazy tank-ability with his ult up.

So in a normal game, alch is just a walking self stun (most of the time)

FOR FUCKS SAKE HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO GO OVER THIS BULLSHIT.
are you illiterate? he said they as in the enemy team.
Truly all you need to start a farmstorm with Alchy is a maelstrom. Once you get going, and you are able to hit 16, his Ult is practically a heart that doesn't stop whenever you get hit. He is the hardest to play carry in my opinion, but all he takes is a little faith, and the smarts to not stun the fuck out of your self.

Can i get some criticism on this build?
You are way too squishy. If you are running without a tank item, you should build power treads. If you want to build phase boots, then build a vanguard on top of it. Lifesteal is also a good thing to build, since the heals will keep you alive mid-fight. BKB is also important so that you don't get CC'd to death, and it bulks you up a bit. Early game, building a ring of bas is a good idea as you have the worst int in the entire game, and it can build into vlads later. Also, shield + qb + tango is bad. Skip the qb, grab a salve and branches instead. qb is a crutch for people who are bad at getting last hits for the most part. You have dagger for that. Ulti at 6 is hit or miss, but I usually avoid it.
I feel like a skilled Gondar when I just go Desolator instead of Battlefury. Works so well for the single Jinada burst from Shadow Walk. And when laning phase is over, going Bottle instead of Magic Wand has proven good too.
Can someone explain how to play Outworld? He's the only hero so far that I don't understand (his skill mechanics blow my mind somehow).
