Can someone explain how to play Outworld? He's the only hero so far that I don't understand (his skill mechanics blow my mind somehow).
I recommend alternating between w and e, 1 point into q. Max out q last Q is pretty much always on autoattack when your e is maxed
stack intelligence forever, the higher your intelligence the more likely you are to cause a 5 man teamwipe with your ult
My friend was playing OD against a full strength team, the whole team all bought intelligence shit (getting nearly the same if not more int) to make the ult do next to nothing
Maybe I'm just unlucky with the aura, I run out of mana all the time with him just from the autocast.
I would like to learn how to build Dragon Knight. I know his early items are generally Treads/Soul Ring (core or optional? I've heard conflicting reports on this)/Helm of the Dominator but past that I wouldn't have a clue what takes priority (apart from BKB vs high disable teams). I do have a general idea how to build him ability-wise (Dragon Tail at Lvl 1, max Breathe Fire by Lvl 7 for easy farming, max Dragon Blood by Lvl 7 if in a high-harass lane) but I'm not too sure about when the ideal time to skill his ult is (I'm going to have to learn to stack creeps properly). Thanks.

Thanks.
It all depends on what you're meeting. My usual build for Dragon Knight is, Soul Ring, Treads, Helm, Armlet. BKB, Assault, Satanic, Heart or Daedlus depending on if you need more damage or more HP. One item that shouldn't be over looked is Heaven's halberd. It's a really strong item against any kind of right click hero. If you would go an halberd I would recommend going it instead of the armlet. Both work together, but it will just delay all the other items. [editline]31st August 2012[/editline]
Can someone explain how to play Outworld? He's the only hero so far that I don't understand (his skill mechanics blow my mind somehow).
I usually go mid with him, start with one level in W, max E as soon as I can. When I have maxed my E, I max my Q. I put in my ult when I can. The motivation to this is because you will just waste mana using your orb if you haven't maxed your E. As for items, I usually go: treads, force staff, orchid, shivas/sheep (depending on what is needed), assault (to get shit loads of armor) and top it off with a refresher orb or a heart. The problem with OD is that he is an extreme glass cannon, and to make him useful you should make him less of a glass cannon even if that means sacrificing some of his firepower. [editline]31st August 2012[/editline]
I feel like a skilled Gondar when I just go Desolator instead of Battlefury. Works so well for the single Jinada burst from Shadow Walk. And when laning phase is over, going Bottle instead of Magic Wand has proven good too.
My build for Gondar works really well and you still dish out some proper damage. Phase boots, Medallion, Orchid, Desolator or Diffusal blade (up to you), mkb and eventually something like an AC or so.

Thanks.
Another good item for him that the Chinese build a lot is a fast pipe. Fills in his one weakness defensively. Offensively, his move speed is poor, so phase boots is an option over power treads depending on how you want to play. After that, items that give armor and/or strength are good. Armlet is very good for this, and synergizes well with Helm/Satanic or Heart. In terms of skill build, take your ulti at 6, but don't take a second level in it until level 15, where the tower pushing properties are less useful.
how do i successfully wex quas invoker Every time I go with that build I fail everything, including ganks. Doesnt happen with Quas Exort for some reason.
Can someone explain how to play Outworld?
how do i successfully wex quas invoker Every time I go with that build I fail everything, including ganks. Doesnt happen with Quas Exort for some reason.
Use tornado + cold snap early game as EMP doesn't do that much with low Wex.
stack intelligence forever, the higher your intelligence the more likely you are to cause a 5 man teamwipe with your ult
(something to add to this) Remember your damage is not based on how much INT you have, its based on how much MANA you have at the moment, you could have a million INT points but only 20 mana points, and you would do almost no damage, of course INT items boost up your mana max points, but just a friendly reminder.
Use tornado + cold snap early game as EMP doesn't do that much with low Wex.
Tornado + Cold Snap is a way better combo than Tornado + EMP when it comes to team fights. If you can cover them in pasta sauce with his space meatball then that's even better (provided you get a bit of exort too, which you should have atleast one of just to have all his spells).

Also your ult is based on INT. [editline]31st August 2012[/editline]

Units hit by the meatball*
Units hit by the meatball*
Wasn't made by me.
My friend was playing OD against a full strength team, the whole team all bought intelligence shit (getting nearly the same if not more int) to make the ult do next to nothing
Was it worth it? Did they counter OD that way? And quite possibly win the match? And.. I don't know, that seems like some "high level" shit, which I know nothing about.

Ya got a bunch of strength heroes with a ton of mana, but no health.
Unless they are Clockwerk, Choasknight, or maybe even Sven. In which case they could ALWAYS use more fucking mana.
Yeah, poor Chaos. Use one stun, gotta wait 5 fucking minutes before you can do it again.
Yeah, poor Chaos. Use one stun, gotta wait 5 fucking minutes before you can do it again.
Or you just pick Keeper of the Light.
Or you just pick Keeper of the Light.
But then I can't make horse jok- Oh... But then I can't naturally go fas- Oh... But then I can't catch people running awa- Oh... Touché.
is shrapnel worth getting early? i tend to get stats instead
is shrapnel worth getting early? i tend to get stats instead
Yes. Slow, AoE, damages towers.
is shrapnel worth getting early? i tend to get stats instead
Sniper is so squishy even stats dont do him much good I've found, you're better off using shrapnel almost as an escape mechanism.
Shrapnel is not a great skill but you should maybe pick it up if you're worried about getting ganked a lot.
Shrapnel is not a great skill but you should maybe pick it up if you're worried about getting ganked a lot.
Shrapnel works a bit for area control, people tend to avoid it although it does nearly nothing.
