Is it worth rushing Aghanim's on Gyrocopter for the global pushing/better teamfights, or is he better off grabbing a positioning item like Lothar's/Blink/forcestaff first? On that note, why is Helm recommended on him? Is Flak Cannon decent for killing ancient stacks?
Rushing aghanism is great to do double lane pushing. Your ulti has little cooldown so you can use it to clear creeps away from you.(Or you can farm a lane and still support your team if they get in a fight) Flak cannon is amazing to kill stacks, also for harass in the laning stages. just put 1 level on missile, 2 on flack, 2 on missiles. Ulti at level 6 and you can easily gank and harass. Aghanims, HoD/Manta, Skadi, Crit, butterfly. Boots for him are treads if you feel you need the strenght but phase are great for a more carry gyro.
Been playing FV and Juggs for kicks, but I'm not really great with either. Which one is the more forgiving one to build? Or at least the more rewarding one to play? I want to pick one that I can focus on learning now, then learn the other later.
I want to play omniknight but I just can't do good how do i play him pls help
Still trying to figure out a good build for Skeleton King. He's a pretty simple carry so he kinda fits me, but so far I have no idea what to buy to him, I've just been testing different combinations and they've worked decently at best.
Invoker. I usually play 1-3 in Quas and max Wex. Should I get a point into Exort early? Early game I usually just tornado to set up cold snap and then auto attack so they freeze. Later I use EMP, Tornado, Cold Snap and then Meteor. At the end I just throw in Meteor, blast and whatever else Is this alright?

Also yeah, you should always get at least a point into everything by level 8, just in case you need a certain spell.
I may have worded that bad. Seems like I'm doing everything ok then. I don't really use Exort until late 20's or if I have scepter and already casted everything else.

I played Brewmaster last round using tranquil boots as an experiment. Worked oddly well, it was like having a free bottle and slightly speed-nerfed BoT with no teleports. I probably won't use that build very often, but I'll remember it if I have a game where I have a difficult time farming, seeing as I'm usually a big BoT fan on Brewmaster.

You can actually get any boots on him, exept treads aren't that good on him. Personally I go phase to get that last Thunderclap on a last guy running away.
I want to play omniknight but I just can't do good how do i play him pls help
Well, getting Arcane Boots as fast as possible is a must. I usually get boots, farm last hits on my lane, then if on top go to the corner shop to get booster. Later on you should get Ring of Sacrifice (very useful) then Mekansm unless someone else got it. When you have Mekansm you should go for Drums. Alternatively, if someone has Mekansm you should try to build a Heart of Tarrasque. Guardian Angel can be used to save everyone in a team fight, or at least 3 people most of the time. You can use healing to troll Broodmothers etc that don't move that much (It damages them even if you can't see them) Repel blocks stuns, dots, some ultis (It completely blocks rupture), silences and generally almost everything. (Thats what I know so far anyways)
With Chaos Knight out, what's a good build for him? He seems like a good armlet carrier with his illusions being able to use the active without the degeneration and all.

All the speed of phase with the awesome ability to backdoor towers and such. That, and it becomes excellent for sneakig in hits, nobody expects a speedy brewmaster.

Then generally get power treads, but phase can also work, and work my way towards the armlet which is an absolute must. After that he's fairly flexible. BKB is usually a must depending on the enemy team. Some people also get a Soul Ring so that you constantly have enough mana for Reincarnation. A Force Staff is also interesting on him because it helps you catch up to people and gives you some nice stats. Then you can just increase his DPS or tankability with something like Desolator, Assault Curaiss, Heart, Orchid, or Mjollnir
I love Drow Ranger, but I'm sub-par as her. Any way to become slightly less sub-par as her? I usually aim for Agility items, but do you suggest I go for faster movement?
3 easy tips to become a baller Drow Ranger: -Farm, farm, farm. You're a hard carry so your main focus for the first 20 mins (and, arguably, all the way up to mid game) is to get as much gold as you can. You will be ruined without a proper amount of last hits/gold. -Always buy situationally. After you buy treads, think about how long they took you to buy. Are you getting enemy kills easily? Maybe spending for the lothars is worth the price since you're getting your farm & getting fed. Is it 25mins in and you haven't even started a lothars build yet? Just go ahead and keep on rushing daedalus (if you haven't already). -Aura and Frost Arrows are your most important early abilities. Aura allows you to get a very beneficial dps output for one of the (arguably) hardest carries to lh with early game. You should put a point into silence, maybe even 2 if the enemy hero is seriously toying with you with their abilities, but it's not nearly as beneficial early game as aura. -Aim for items that will give you high DPS, then focus on other builds. I love Daed because it really bridges you into late-game. You really don't need as many items to aid agility as long as you have treads. Combined with your passive agility ult gain, you should be in the clear.
Anyone have a good Lifestealer build? I'm really getting into him. I've got the abilities down packed but I'm iffy on the items
This is my current Omniknight build: Starter: Basilius Branch or Clarity Clarity Right away get ring of regen from the side shop and soul ring recipe, courier the recipe out and disassemble the ring of basilius to make a soul ring and ring of protection. Buy boots and then you only need to get 350 gold for another ring of regen and you have tranquil boots. Get an orb of venom and you have an early 80 move speed and massive slows because of venom and degen aura stacking. Use the tranquil boots to heal yourself and the soul ring to heal your lane partner. Use your slows to give easy kills to your teams' carry in lane with you. This is really potent with heroes like ursa who rely on the ability to get close and personal with the enemy or heroes with strong slows like veno or viper. After that get drum for even more move speed and some strength to toughen up. From there get whatever fits the situation. Any criticism?

I also prefer arcane boots since tranquil speed is disabled easily and you can already heal yourself.

I often do something like: -Tango -Soul Ring Recipe (because you can get both other components from side shop) -Courrier/Wards -As many branches as I can
Thanks. Any recommended builds for DR at the beginning, early and later in the game? and not essentially character related, but how can I deny a unit or building? The hero bots always seem to deny my creep kills somehow.
attack-move (default A) and left click, only works on creeps with less than half health and towers with <100hp iirc
So I want to learn to play dragonknight, any tips?
attack-move (default A) and left click, only works on creeps with less than half health and towers with <100hp iirc
Towers can be denied once they fall below 10% health.

Can someone tell me how to play Shadow Shaman, I gotta be doing something wrong because I have like 0 wins and 8 losses with him- it's the mark of death for my team if I pick him.
attack-move (default A) and left click, only works on creeps with less than half health and towers with <100hp iirc
its 130 hp for t1s, 160 hp for any towers past that
http://www.playdota.com/guides/epic-return all you need to know about skelly
I was a few gold off becoming a STRAIGHT-UP BALLER just then- in my first ever game as SK. Does anyone have a link to, or image of a WC3 Dota - Dota 2 items icons list? I know like 70% of them but I don't want to miss anything. I'm becoming increasingly irritated by my lack of Dota 1 knowledge. Sorry for off-topic. Don't derail from me.
for anyone that needs a good guide for shadow fiend, i reccomend using this one. http://www.playdota.com/guides/loveyuerus-guide-to-shadow-fiend I won my first game with this and got a score of 10/2/6.
