To those who're saying Free Roam is for killing people, may I ask why, that there is other stuff? I know it's not the prime directive of a game, but I believe that's the death match aspect of the game, I also say that Free-Roam is to have fun, not to go around killing people ( I know it's [I]part [/I]of the fun, but that's quickly ruined for the other side) Is that Free-roam is to explore and, like I said, Have fun.

[b]Free[/b] roam means you can do anything you want. If you want to "have fun" go play Halo 3.
Killing for no reason in the game makes it even more like the Wild West. And it is FREE roam
But like what others have said, just avoid any towns or forts player(s) are holding out. And make sure you're in a posse.

Really... FreeRoam has a lot of Cooperative elements to it, and there are game modes specifically designed for people to shoot everyone they see, on a team or free for all... People treating FreeRoam as Deathmatch piss me off, especially when a few of us are doing gang hideouts and they sit on a hill and snipe at you
Alot of those pussies would be lost and confused without their little autoaim though
And for leveling up... Me and 2 other guys were doing a GangHideout and completing it in 1:15 and getting 1100xp each

Same here. It's so much fun that it's gotten to the point that I hope someone kills me.
Get with a group of friends and you as a group will become unstoppable, just kill the douchebags over and over and over until they get bored of dying.
