I like to set it so you can't go past the modern age. But nukes can be fun.

I tried to play this again, a while ago. But it feels like there's a 1 second delay every time I do an action. Even with graphics on lowest. It it supposed to feel like this?

Loads of fun, finally found a second hand copy of the gold edition for £2, so I couldn't resist, but for some reason I get attacked non stop about five minutes in, pretty much bleeding me dry...
Oh well, I'll just build more towers.

I love to play as the Indians. Surrounding cities with rings of towers is really satisfying, though not particularly efficient.

This game is awesome but I spend more time with the Age of Empires series just because I grew up on that. I usually don't have the time to play RTSes, though, so I don't play them much.
My dad has some RTSes and he happened to find Rise of Nations just lying around, so he gave me it. :D
