I don't know why, I can't stop using cheats in singleplayer games. It seems that in most of the games I play, I have to use cheats on the first playthrough or something. I can't stop using cheats somehow. Its annyoing, maybe its just me that hates dying on the very same spot and reloading FROM THE GODDAMN START.
Anyone else had such a problem?
And I'm talking about singlplayer cheats.

Cheathappens: OMG! MEMBERSHIP FOR 15 BUXX A MONTH GETZ NAOW FUR TRAINERRZ
Fuck you I'm not paying $15 for a fucking trainer, I'll just go to gamecopyworld and get one there.
Anyone who thinks that was a reference to pirating is horribly mentally challenged.
San Francisco Rush games on the N64 had some kickass cheats.
The only time I've ever cheated was on my second playthrough of HL1 to skip the fucking train part.

Oh and those games where you unlock cheats after doins some stuff, like Tony Hawk games and CoD.
It's a subconscious thing. Deep down you have an inferiority complex so you make up for it by trying to feel superior to everyone you meet. Of course you don't like confrontation though so you can't do this to real people and so it manifests itself in video games. The cheats make you feel better by allowing you to do anything you wish as many times as you like.

God this guy is sick! GET HELP!
I only cheat for fun.
Like in FO3 I like to spawn npcs in megaton ( Super muties) and watch the epic battle.
Then I resurrect every megaton character that died to avoid losing them.
Only for fun.
depends on the game. For some half the fun is in cheats
e.g Mercenaries 1, I had some fucking great times getting into an airport baggage handler, turning invincibility on then driving outside map boundaries (thus getting the shit airstriked out of me, sending me half a map away)
I usually only use cheats after I beat the game, or to get past an impossible level
Cheating used to be fun in games like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Grand Theft Auto, and the like. Nowadays, I find myself not using them at all. Seems like I grew out of them.
the cheats were fucking amazing in SimCopter.
I used to spawn the apache with the imtheCEOofMcDonnalDouglas cheat, and go around killing all the black suited 'Mafia' sims.
Then I would accidentally blow up the nuclear reactor and shoot down the UFO in order to beat the level.
The cheats in the Original Theme Park were fun as hell when you could take apart the RollerCoasters, WaterSlides and RaceTrack while in use.
Obviously you haven't played Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2. Those are the most rewarding games I've ever played.
Ninja gaiden is so awesome
I have this problem.
Never completed a Half-Life game without cheats.
Untill some days ago, completed Episode 2 without cheats, it felt.. good.
[sp] I did use impulse 101 ONCE[/sp]
Most games nowadays don't even seem to have cheats.

I agree so hard. SO HARD.
Cheating ruins the entire game for me, I now only use them after I've played through the entire game.

Oh wow, that game brings back so many memories.
The cheats were fantastic also.

Try some balls, on scarface :smug:
GTA games are made for cheating. There are soooooooooooo Many MADE for the game. Also cheating isnt cheating. It's more secrets than anything.
I used to cheat a lot but learned my lesson. Games just aren't fun cheating.
Does anyone else get this where you and a friend LAN and he insists on making it as easy as possible? It annoys the crap out of me.
The only game that I cheated during first playthrough is GTA San Andreas,
I was about 10 at the time too.
Now I'm hoping to get the game back and play it like it's meant to be.
