Well, I can't really help with that, just make sure you're fowarding the port to your LOCAL IP, not your Interweb IP. At least, that's how my shit works. If that's what you've already done, then you have troubles.

Can trees grow if the sapling is placed directly against a wall or fence? In corners? If surrounded by fences?

I think they dont but you can clear it then use the bone thing to make it instantly grow.

Kill a skeleton and make bonemeal, (1 bone in a craft grid.) and use it on the sapling to make it grow instantly. (Same with crops for bonemeal.)

What are the minimum requirements for a Minecraft server? 5-10 people, optimal quality, little lag etc.. posting again

Whenever I go to bed, I wake up prematurely and a skeleton is in my bedroom trying to kill me. What's going on?

My Minecraft isn't working. After the update, singleplayer broke, crashing whenever I tried to select it. The new launcher NEVER connects to minecraft.net meaning I can't play Multi instead. I tried getting rid of the entire Minecraft.jar and redownloading the entire thing after Notch said he fixed it but it still doesn't connect meaning I can't even play offline. I'm on Mac.

Here's a help question: why do I keep crashing? I play for a while with no problems, but then my game crashes without warning and the entire world is reset to how it was when I first got there. All man-made objects disappear, all cut trees are regrown, all stripped hillsides are made full again. It kind of ruins the experience, having everything you're working on disappear without warning. Anybody else had this problem?

I can't turn off my sound in Minecraft without crashing, I've tried redownloading etc., but it doesn't work. I asked in the megathread, but I couldn't find the file the guy told me to delete.
