How do I change the location of the .minecraft folder? I remember notch saying something about that. Or is that not in this update?

I'm pretty sure I can't, but Google has yielded no straightforward results, so I'll just ask it. Is it possible to use client mods that add items on a server? My own server, I mean.

No, they need to be coded separately. Also, I'm having EXTREME lag problems with my server, and everyone that plays is reporting it. It's not a distance problem, I know this for sure. Sometimes it's good for 5 minutes, then lags really bad for about 5 minutes. Anyone know what's up? :confused:

Hey guys, big problem here. I need to update my Bukkit on a server that I am running remotely. I have no idea what to do with the Snapshot file that I downloaded. I tried reading the documentation, but that does not mention how to update. PLEASE HELP, THE SERVER HAS BEEN DOWN SINCE THE UPDATE.
