smod, if you don't play it ur brain will explode due to lack of happyness in your life. in fact, i'm going to go play it now oh and if you download it, us ethe console commands "sv_cheats 1" and "impulse 101" so you can use all the weapons
It's a parallel world, really has its "what the fuck" moments... OH HEY HELLO COMBINES— WHY ARE YOU SHOOTING ME I THOUGHT YOU WERE FRIENDLY— oh but they are [sp]the black ship's faction[/sp]'s combine [editline]12:04AM[/editline] Playing Coastline to Atmosphere right now, and its quite good, even though THERE ARE WAY TOO MUCH MOTHERFUCKING ENEMIES IN 50 SQUARE CENTIMETERS. Fucking insane to have 30 soldiers which suddenly attack you as you come outta a door. The mod seems long though, I hope it'll be more enjoyable in the Atmosphere part.
The way you worded that makes me think of a human pyramid of Combine (Combine pyramid?) shooting at you.
Smod

Smod: Tactical, definitely. Well, all the SMod games. The customisation of your own weapons is excellent. You need to learn a little, but other wise, it's all good.

I'm going to try DayHard out as soon as I finish Coastline to Atmosphere. :v:
Just played and finished Mistake of pythagoras the story is so confusing i don't know if the ending is good or sad.
Just played and finished Mistake of pythagoras the story is so confusing i don't know if the ending is good or sad.
It's a sad ending. Feel free to cry now. Also, I thought Calamity was sort of bland. Sure, it's well made, but it's still Half-Life 2. You fight the same enemies with the same weapons in the same order, which is what turns me off most mods. Day Hard has whacky humor and custom voice acting, not to mention punishing difficulty. Mistake of Pythagoras has surreal environments and enemies. Smod has plenty of new weapons, enemies, and scripted events. You get the idea.
Mistake of Pythagoras is definitely the most epic mod ever, especially when you get the [sp]line-of-sight telekinesis. I nearly cried from laughter when I made a big combine squad fly just by watching them![/sp]
Casualty effect is also good, it's short but has multiple endings.
portal prelude
Just finished HL2: Riot Act, it was very professionally-made and entertaining, I recommend it.
portal prelude
Ugh.
I tried Riot Act, I didn't really like it.
Get the mods Ravenholm and Eye of the Storm. Play Ravenholm first though.
Coastline to Atmosphere god damn it was long, it kept going on and on and on, even after the fucking credics they keep trowing shit at you
Just finished MoP, damn that ending was confusing. But the powers you get are incredibly fun. I want to know how the modder did this, put that in the HL2 storyline, unstoppable HEV suit of death.
Smod
Congratulations on reviving a thread that has been dead for several months
