Just got to [sp]mexico[/sp] and now it's like a different game. Don't know whether I want to keep playing anymore.
I felt the same, but as soon as you start doing missions you will feel better. IMO you should start the ones in Chuparosa first.
Nice flaming, Maggot.

hurry, get on it and drive.
Because maggot is somehow less of an insult than faggot? I'd love to know your logic.
I got the "shoot two hats off people within 5 seconds"-thingy by shooting thugs with the sawn off. Just get a little distance.
Seems hats serves as helmets for most enemies in free-roam stronghold assaults. I seem to pop their hats off nearly every time I go for the head, making me use another shot to finish them off. I got that challenge relatively quickly after it was made available to me using a Springfield rifle from about 100 yards away on two bandits guarding the entrance to a fortress.
My sister stayed up playing from 10 o'clock at night 'til 8 am. :crossarms:
I found out today that you can jump off a roof and onto the back of your horse.
I fucking came because I made an escape out the window of a second story building and jumped off the roof above my horse thinking "That would be cool if I just landed on its back" and I did and I jizzed and I rode off into the sunset.

It's because their hat is bigger than their head. You have to make sure to aim right between the eyes, otherwise if you aim at the top of the head you'll be hitting the crown of the hat instead. Cowboy hats are tall.

Why? What's wrong with that part of the game?
Also, I have like a 5000 dollar bounty, and I escaped the marshals chasing me and I rode to plainview. I rented the tent and stayed there to save, and I wake up and the fucking marshals had me surrounded, like they actually tracked me down and were closing in. I sucked down some moonshine and killed them all.
Why? What's wrong with that part of the game?
This.
I've heard this from other reviews but I didn't notice any difference.
My game glitched at the [sp]mission where the colonel betrays you in mexico[/sp] and the game keeps going to a blank screen after the cutscene. May miss that mission out for a moment, in the meantime does anyone know of a good place to find boars?
Why? What's wrong with that part of the game?
Nothing really, I guess garry just thinks it feels different because [sp]instead of old western cowboy saloons and such like in New Austin[/sp] it has [sp]mexican huts and concrete (clay?) houses and stuff.[/sp]
Oh, and not to mention [sp]everyone wearing ponchos and sombreros and having outrageous spanish accents instead of texan slang type cowboy shit.[/sp]

But those are all common and reoccurring themes and settings in spaghetti westerns.
I could try, but do you know how hard it is to find 2 people with sombreros on in the same place? And then to shoot both of them off within 5 seconds of each other with them riding away on their horses? Yes there is that one gang hideout, but those fuckers take cover so fucking much.
Possibly included in the 100% completion, dunno.
[editline]04:59PM[/editline]
That's probably your console
Dude, just use dead eye. It's SUPER easy. Just pick any guy in town, pull out your revolver, dead eye (I used level 1) and aim as high up on his hat as you can. If you miss just try a bit lower.
Just got to [sp]mexico[/sp] and now it's like a different game. Don't know whether I want to keep playing anymore.
I don't understand why that word needs to be in sp tags. I mean, was anyone genuinely surprised to find out that the huge bottom area of your map was in fact enterable? Even the back of the game's box says that you go there.
But those are all common and reoccurring themes and settings in spaghetti westerns.
I guess. But I agree with what Garry said, when I got to Mexico the game felt a bit different. Even if I can still go back to New Austin, it still felt a bit weird.
They're all completely different areas and all have really individual feel to them. Wait till you get into Blackwater, it changed the feel of the game completely for me.
How big is the map
How big is the map
Big enough.
How big is the map
Don't worry about this. It's huge.
Also, about that haunted house in Tumbleweed. [sp]The voices you hear when you shoot are from npc's that are stuck somewhere in the ground around or under the house. That being said, it might still be haunted, but the voices aren't that of ghosts[/sp]

Where can I find bears in New Austin?
Where can I find bears in New Austin?
Try looking up north.
Where can I find bears in New Austin?
Tall Trees, also bearclaw camp I think.
Anything to do in multiplayer other than competitive matches and holding out in towns with friends?
HAH! I just noticed in the Intro sequence that Bonnie is in the background jumping off the train.
[editline]05:10PM[/editline]
I'm going to replay the game without using the War Horse. Should be fun.
[editline]05:19PM[/editline]
Anyone else think Rockstar should make an animated movie? I loved the cutscenes...
[editline]05:21PM[/editline]
God fucking damnit, the game automatically gave me the damn War Horse.
fucking sold out everywhere
[editline]04:29PM[/editline]

[editline]04:30PM[/editline]

[editline]04:37PM[/editline]
gotta wait till next wednesday. FUCK.
Fucking cougars.
I was just riding out in the middle of nowhere, minding my own business, when a woman came up to me and told me that her cart had been stolen. As I turned around to give the fucker who stole it what-for, I got 'MISSION FAILED'. I turned back around, and it turns out the woman who told me to get her cart had been killed by a FUCKING COUGAR.

I went to about 6/7 shops in the same place and only one of the shops hadn't sold out, and even then they only had like 2 copies left.

I felt this way too. It felt like I was starting over. It gets better.
Can you actually tie up people / use the rope in multiplayer? When do you unlock it in SP?
Can you actually tie up people / use the rope in multiplayer? When do you unlock it in SP?
You unlock it on one of the early missions with bonnie
I don't get people saying going to [sp]Mexico[/sp] changed the game at all. It was fun as hell, the atmosphere is incredible, and I enjoyed it every bit as much as New Austin
