How do I discover the American Army outfit? I did that one mission with the Captain and everyone, but it was never added.

I'm with you on this one. I speculate it has something to do with Marston's reformation. His conscience taking on a physical entity in his mind.
Or maybe it's more complex than that, who knows!
I went through some of thieves landing and played a few rounds of liars dice. After mounting my horse and making my way to the open country, a woman was being kidnapped on the outskirts of Thieve's Landing. I shot the guy in the legs with dead eye and he dropped the woman who unforunately slid down into the neighboring lake and drowned.
That must have been a shitty way to go.

I haven't actually done those missions but I read about that on Tvtropes.
[sp]It's God, because when Marston says 'damn you' he replies 'many people have.'[/sp]

[sp]Are you certain? I hope I didn't shoot him by accident, I purposely aimed for all the guys in suits.[/sp]
Decided to break the American Standard-bred and whatever the white one is called.
They seem to be faster than the Kentucky Saddler to me, what do you guys think?
Mexico was one of the best parts of the game, IMO.
So many memorable characters in this game
It's not bad but i think mexico is not as well made as the rest of the world. You had to go from one end to the other all the time. Just after i entered Mexico i started using fast travel. Before that i rode my way to the destination.

They say it's a Black Horse but if light shines at it at the right angle you can see a lot of brown on it, so it's really a Dark Brown Horse which made me sad because Black Horses were always my favorites.
When I'll replay the game I will play as a bad guy and get the Dark Horse, hopefully it's really black.
And I found most horses were faster than the Kentucky, maybe was just a feeling.
So how can I tell if one horse is better than the other?
I notice speed differs but i want a more noticeable way to tell if the horse is better than what i have.
Or is there some special horse somewhere i can find in a certain spot?

You can buy faster horses at a lot of general stores, quite costly though.
End game and "I Know You" spoilers ahead.
[sp]Apparently the ghost is one of the guys that shoots you.[/sp]
I finally got to Mexico...
It is awesome
I love the bandanna.
One minute I'm a famous legend of the West and the next I'm out robbing banks.
Well shit.
I was running away from deputies and I decided to slow down my horse.
The poor fuckers knees broke, we both skidded along the ground and the horse died. :frown:
I hate the people who say "JOIN DE POSSE HURrhurr" then they leave five minutes later and the entire posse becomes a deathmatch.
[editline]10:53PM[/editline]
Or people who join a posse and when you're standing there they shoot you and your horse and ride off in smugness.
I just got 100%. First game I've ever played to achieve complete 100% on. That should be enough proof on how awesome this game is.

That makes no sense at all. [sp]Isn't the top hat guy God/Devil?[/sp]
What's frustrated me most about the game so far is the achievement to be Public Enemy for 10 minutes on a public server. Everyone's pricks and still kills you even when you send polite messages asking them to help you out with the achievement.
Grr.
So which banks can you rob, anyway?
[editline]11:40PM[/editline]
Can you rob houses?
[sp]John imagined him[/sp]
Or he's god, seeing that he knows what John did, and was always there when he shot that woman a few years back.

Um, I thought you can rob every bank but you can't rob banks on multiplayer.
Haven't really tried to rob houses, i'll check it out.
You think I can get RDR for free if I trade these games for it at Gamestop?
Nintendo DS games: Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, Resident Evil Deadly Silence, Alex Rider Stormbreaker (lol), King Kong, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Tony Hawk's American Sk8land.
360 games: Halo 3 ODST, Fallout 3, Burnout Paradise, and MLB 2k7.
It's probably a stupid question and I can get more then one game with all that, but I'm just wondering.
Trade em all in for store credit, then use the store credit for RDR. You'll have enough.

I think you answered your own question with that last sentence.

Just sell them all on Ebay, you will get more money out of it.

i doubt you can get more than one game with all of that...have you tried this before? gamestop gives you horrible prices on games in good condition, better off doing it on ebay or craigslist or something
Well I got 30 bucks from them for trading in two games once.
I Know You Stranger Quest
EXTREME SPOILERS (ENDING)
[sp] When the "man" from the quest says, "This is a fine spot." he's actually standing on John, Abigail, and Uncle's graves. [/sp]
Anyone feel like playing some PS3 Free Roam? I'm getting bored of random shootouts with people.
I get tired of the constant posse invites during Free Roam.
I'll get one, deny it, and no more than a few seconds later, the same kid will send me another one.
I think it'd be fun to go around doing the hunting master challenges and stuff with a posse, but I just don't find doing strongholds with a posse fun at all. Every gang hideout is easy to do by yourself, and doing it with other people just makes it a scramble for kills.

Agreed, they need to make them way more challenging to encourage people to try and beat them cooperatively.
