Don't get off your horse and Dead Eye every enemy you see with a mouser or high powered pistol. Save the last guy and lasso him and just drag him around for a bit. If you have trouble with health or dead eye just take some medicine or moonshine.

It took me forever to win poker in Blackwater for the Army uniform. I had to shoot a couple of them and then play the two that were left and even that took me a long time. Also cheating as much as possible.

i just had the most awesome experience.
i got invited to this random posse and the people had found a carriage with 4 seats in the back and 2 in the front, so we all got in, 3 in the back part and the driver and shotgun rider, we just rode around hunting crap and killing people, then we charged a fort that had a machine gun and actually managed to kill the gunner without any of us dieing, then we charged inside in the carriage and took over.

This game made me almost obsessively possessive of my horse, Rockstar made that certain facet of Western life (Horse thieves were commonly hung or shot on sight) quite accurate.
So I just beat the game and I have a question. To get the bureau uniform it says that you have to get 100% game completion. Does that mean [sp]that you have to play as Jack? Or can I load a save game with John cause I don't really like Jack. It's just not the same.[/sp]

Had a really good free roam yesterday, held out a small base in Mexico, had cannons and gattling guns everywhere. Loads of lawmen and random players trying to get the bounty on me and my random posse friends.
I really hope I meet some people who'll become regular posse members with me. I'm really bored of trying to do a challenge or just simply hunt only to have someone with a vendetta against me try and kill me. Sucks if I'm honest D:

I like normal aiming more than casual, normal is much less constricting imo

Same, too bad everyone else uses casual so they can snipe your across the main river with a damned volcano gun
The only other thing I don't like about the game besides the law is the way aiming works now and also how it seems like they've reduced contact with other people. If you try to walk into someone, rather than pushing them out the way like in GTA, you kind of make them slide along the ground, until they decide they've been pushed enough and fall over weird like.
But yeah apart from that I love this game.
Has anyone else looked at the photos you get for the blackmail stranger mission in Blackwater? They're hilarious.
FUCK i want this on pc right now, but ho well in like 1 year rockstar sucks will port it like shit to the pc (like gta 4)

I kept losing and then one round I got really lucky. I looked around the table, only had like 200 chips left, the pot was huge too. Then I realized I had a full house. I was like "OH SHIT", went all in at the same time the last guy did and walked away with like 4,000 chips. Shit was awesome.
Try whistling for your horse while standing near an edge.

I just won myself 3000 chips but then bet it all away again. Gambling is so addictive, even on a game! I had my vengeance though as i went back and killed them all. :smug:
I shot the dealer dead in blackjack, he got a perfect 21 4 times in a row so I stood up and put a bullet through him.
There needs to be multiplayer poker and the like, would fucking rock.
and being able to cheat would be VERY important, mostly so people can accuse eachother and have poker table shootouts.
