I just visited Theives Landing. I love that area, this is easily one of the nicest looking games out.
Finally got the "High Roller" achievement. Asshole was bluffing with Jack high, when I had an Ace high straight flush. I won around 2600 chips.

I got extremely lucky and got High Roller on my first hand of high stakes. Couldn't believe it.
I finally got the Liar's Dice achievement, but I was playing 3 other people.
Also, I hate when I call my horse, run to get on, and it turns away and slowly trots off just so I can barely catch up to it.
Also, every time I try to get revenge on some ass that just shot me, either I or they loose connection. I want my fucking revenge!
When can I buy from the tailer in Thieves Landing? Went there and all I got was bulletholes.

I'm not sure if it was a bug, but how I got it was, I had 2 pairs, so I thought, hell, I'll go for it.
The first AI raised my bet, the second raised it more, I called, the first AI raised it again, the second raising it MORE and this kept going until we all went 'All-In' and turned out they both had 1 pair. :/
I ended up getting over 3000 chips earning me about, $300 and the achievement, stoopid AI.
Does this game have loading screens? I see many people saying that there are absolutely no loading screens in RDR but mine has loading screens. Is there something wrong with my game or what?

Armadillo is my "Safe zone" It feels perfect. Saloon. No paved roads. people riding through on horses. Real old west shit. I didn't like blackwater at all because it felt too modern and i ain't a fan of that. And mexico is alright its just not my armadillo.

Poker in Blackwater really pissed me off when I was trying to eliminate everyone else and I started my fifth attempt by accident when I was really planning on leaving. Decided to go all in right from the beginning. The other 3 guys followed and went all in too. Hadn't even looked at my cards. The final card on the table is shown and I'm sitting there with an Ace High Club. Everyone else had 5's and 8's and those sorts of hands. Eliminated everyone else. Fucking fantastic luck right there.

Me too, I love armadillo. I quite like tall trees, but it's no armadillo.
Just finished the game tonight, I decided I should finally do it.
[sp]I liked the ending a lot, even got close to shedding a man tear during the credits, however if they're going to give Jack a 10 year old voice don't make him look 30. Other than that everything was great except for the fact that I miss being John, however I wouldn't mind a sequel as Jack, or a prequel as John.[/sp]
