So, what is your verdict?
Do horses have Euphoria or not?
shoot them
bam euphoria
shoot them
bam euphoria
No. It is not Euphoria. They would stumble and fall if it was Euphoria. They just plop on the ground dead.
No. It is not Euphoria. They would stumble and fall if it was Euphoria. They just plop on the ground dead.
Euphoria is just a physics engine, you shoot them and they fall over dead, that's Euphoria
Euphoria is just a physics engine, you shoot them and they fall over dead, that's Euphoria
Euphoria is also used to simulate nervous systems, that is what we are talking about.
Horses do not utilize any dynamic uncanned animation.
It is a combination of physics and on the fly animation.

Well sure but saying the horses don't have Euphoria is just untrue.
It would be useless for them to have Euphoria anyway, too much of a system strain.
Does anyone know where I can be guaranteed to find some cougars? I'm trying to do Master Hunter Challenge 5 and I can't find ANY cougars.
Tanner's Reach. It's a bit north of Bearclaw Camp. You have to zoom in on the map a bit in order for Tanner's Reach to show up, since it's a relatively small area. There's a little cabin you can camp in and just kill cougars with the door open, since they don't come inside at all.
Well sure but saying the horses don't have Euphoria is just untrue.
Now you're just splitting hairs. Horses do have Euphoria in a sense, but they are not ACTED upon by Euphoria.

Wrong.
Euphoria is a game animation engine created by NaturalMotion based on Dynamic Motion Synthesis, NaturalMotion's proprietary technology for animating 3D characters on-the-fly "based on a full simulation of the 3D character, including body, muscles and motor nervous system".[2] Instead of using predefined animations, the characters' actions and reactions are synthesized in real-time; they are different every time, even when replaying the same scene.

Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (RAGE), is a game engine created by a small team called the "RAGE Technology Group" at the video game developer Rockstar San Diego with contributions by Rockstar North. Rockstar developed the engine to facilitate game development on the PC, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360 consoles. RAGE evolved from the Angel Game Engine originally developed by Angel Studios for use in the sixth generation console era versions of the Midnight Club series and other Rockstar San Diego games.[1]
Rockstar has integrated a few third party middleware components into RAGE like the proprietary Euphoria[2] character animation engine and the open source Bullet[3] physics engine.
They DO have euphoria, shoot a horse near a cliff, they don't just fall over, they flip, trip and the whole she-bang.
Do you expect a horse to flip crazily when shot just because it's the Euphoria engine? :/
They flip and trip, but they do not attempt to stabilize themselves or act based upon their environment.
What you are seeing is ragdoll physics.
They flip and trip, but they do not attempt to stabilize themselves or act based upon their environment.

Because they die, you expect a horse to stabilize themselves when dead?
That's an outrageous expectation. :/
Wrong.
nah dawg the ragdolls are part of euphoria
go to the euphoria tool online it has ragdolls
Because they die, you expect a horse to stabilize themselves when dead?

Euphoria is meant for live characters, ragdoll physics are likely driven by the physics engine.
@ Tran: Shoot people in the head, they will often stagger for a second or two.
I'm pretty sure, no... positive humans are the only things that have "dynamic motion synthesis"
Horses will roll and stuff because they have a big round hull. and when they "trip" it is just their legs staying behind because they are on the ground and have friction with the ground.
Where do I find my fucking son?
[sp] I'm at the damn farm and I don't see him where he's supposed to be, it says I have to wait for him to come back... When does he come back?[/sp]

Go save the game, it'll advance 6 hours, usually enough time for him to return. (this is what I did when I couldn't find someone)
There's a show or little movie on FOX right now where I am
RED DEAD REDEMPTION, a short animated film by acclaimed director John Hillcoat (The Proposition, The Road) based on the video game RED DEAD REDEMPTION, tracks John Marston’s progress as he tries to uncover clues to the whereabouts of his former gang mate Bill Williamson. His journey throws a rag tag cast of characters across his path including local lawman Marshall Johnson, unscrupulous snake oil salesman Nigel West Dickens, rancher’s daughter Bonnie MacFarlane and gone-crazy prospector Seth.
Hmm..
Anybody know where I can watch this short film over the internet?
Hmm..

Just wait a day or two, it'll no doubt be uploaded.
Looks like a machinima, rather than a short film from what I've seen.
Just a bunch of cutscense and gameplay pasted together.
I was hoping for an animated film, not this.
I guess I will see how this turned out later.

I followed the fucker as he woke up, walked to the tree, sat down, and began to read.

Sleep again? D:
I dunno, it's what I did, is there no one else to do a mission with? Is he the only one?
The drunken cheat still hasn't been found? I wonder why it's so hard to find. Or do you have to do something to get it?

Yep, I've been waiting on Jack..
And I just spent a whole day (ingame) having my character stand on the spot, nothing. This is a stupid thing to put in a game, if you are going to make the player wait for the character at least have him come once during the day.
aaughghg someone spoiled the ending ughhhhh

I didn't have this problem, I just slept and he'd be there. :/
I'm not sure man, try going to do something else then come back?

I'm pretty sure R* said that all the codes for the cheats would be hidden in News posts on their sites. It is somewhere under the cheats menu in Social Club. I am not for sure.
Exodus in America is such a good song.

Is there a version with just the piano?
ARGH! My friend is a dick! He told me that [sp]John dies in the end and some guy is god.[/sp] I had to leave before he spoiled all the details about the ending. I don't even have the game yet. :argh:
