I never had any problems with the horse controls in this game..
Tap A once in a while and you'll sprint forever, if you want to go straight, don't touch the left stick. And if you want to look around, you use the right stick. Exactly like driving cars in games, except instead of using the trigger as throttle, you tap A to go faster.
The controls are relative to your horse unless you tell the game otherwise (you can change many things in the options menu.)
Anything with a wagon will automatically drive on the roads if you're aiming, so that's piss easy too.
When does the American Standard bred or whatever it's called become available? It's the fast black horse
I just spent 10 hours playing last night. I just finished the mission where you get the [sp] gatling gun [/sp], It was getting late so I went hunting and killed a few cougars.
Is there a way to sell all your stuff at once? like pelts and stuff, Selling it one at a time is very time consuming if you have 25+ of the item.

You can sell bundles of the one item by pushing up on the right analog stick to increase the quantity.
But if you meant sell EVERYTHING, then no.
I'm trying to do the stranger mission "Deadalus and Son", where the inventor's building a plane and needs you to collect stuff for him to make an adhesive. I've got the feathers and red sage, but I have no idea at all where to find beavers. The objective says that I can find them near the rivers up north, but my bait attracts wolves and coyotes, nothing else. Does anyone know a good spot for beaver hunting?
Yeah bait only attracts predators, I'm sure if you roamed around the rivers for a bit you'd find some.

Doubt blood would attract Beavers. :/
Have you tried the northern most point of the river?
Just follow the river upstream from the bottom, maybe you'll run into some.

I'll give that a try, but in the meantime I have to get back over there because I was killed by a fucking ninja bear.

Fuck I hate that, you're running along owning every animal in the place, then suddenly; ROAWR -- "DEAD".
Not a lot of warning in this game... :/
When does the American Standard bred or whatever it's called become available? It's the fast black horse
Pretty sure you have to tame a wild version of any locked horse to make the deed available in the shop.

I didn't even get a roar. One minute I was walking along the river, next I was on the floor being mauled.

Ouch.
Same goes with the fuckin' Cougars, you only hear the ROAWR when they're eating your carcass.
I like to go to BW, and pretend I'm a special agent, start from the police station and then make up objectives.
The last one I had was "Herbert MOOOOOOOOOON was a pedophile, I had to kill him without him knowing I was a special agent". I cheated at poker and shot him without him knowing.
I also sneaked into Mexico, killed Torquemada and sneaking out under nightfall.
And took the train out before Daybreak.
Making up situations like this spices up the SP after you get 100%

Fuck I hate Herbert Moon. Once I unlock the Bureau Outfit I am going to kill him every time I go into Armadillo. All he does is insult Jewish people haha.

Oh thank god, I'm not the only one who does this.
I used to do this for the GTA games also, it's fun to have an imagination.

Herbert Moon is a prick confirmed.

I also do it, in GTA i pretended that a guy was important because he had a police car behind him, I shot the police car and he started driving fast, their was a big chase.
But back to RDR, does anyone know what gets you the golden guns in multiplayer.

It's like MW, you have to do the challenges for that gun.
Oh I used to do those make up my own mission things in GTA: SA, but it was all about trucking/flying.
All my imagination missions in RDR involve assassinating whores though. I really need to find a new hobby.

I hate how whenever he gets robbed he runs up to you and shouts "I'M HERBERT MOON, I JUST GOT ROBBED!". I just act all witty, say something cool and execute him with my sawn off.
Oh god, I was just massacring a town, when I shot this lady twice, she got back up, Every other person i have ever shot on takes two shots, even in the foot, I let her stumble away, only to fall down a cliff, and she was still alive :tinfoil:
I came across this man standing on the edge of a cliff, he was wearing a suit and offered me a side quest thing, needless to say I pushed him off the cliff.
was he an important character?

I did this as well, i think he comes back.
So uhh, the game just glitched and I now have a war horse in free roam.
Fuck yes.
I was walking up in tall trees and some random guy started shooting at me and missed all the time. Before I pulled out my gun a dead bear tumbled past me and the dude walked on. Awesome.
And I pushed some random guy in the armadillo bar and somehow glitched into the sky and fell down. Odd.
There are a lot of glitches in this game, i hope they fix them all up soon, also.. if anyone plays online, try do the Veteran Competitive modes.. they are the most fun. (No Auto-Aim and Hardly any radar)

Nuuu, the glitches are what make free roam games even better, I say keep them!
Except for the ones that freeze the game and whatnot... :/
Why would you want to get rid of glitches like the Donkey Lady or Coyote Man? They're great.
I actually ran into that jackass lady glitch last night on PS3. I spent like 3 hours just riding her around and when people saw me they'd either try to shoot me or shoot my jackass lady so I'd just get out my extremely OP high powered pistol and own their dumb asses. A little kid last night even went so far as to claim that I was "hacking the game and changing the models" and that he was going to report me to Sony.
How the fuck do you level up in MP, I get my ass handed to me in matches
fucking goddamn wagon horses are all stuck in the ground. i mean every wagon thing has its horse's feet in the ground so it can't move it was only annoying at first but now i can't finish a mission because the wagon wont fuckin move
