yeah, usually i do that with all games but the MP is a good break from it
spend some time in that levelling up and building up your MP character and stuff
Hey guys. Initially I had planned to only play MP after I had finished the campaign, but it's turning out to be really damn long. Should I play MP?
You should defiantly give it a go, its fun.

Play with friends, though!
I've heard I can find cougars on "The Great Plains" however I don't know where that is. Can somebody tell me?
Nevermind I just found it on the map. I haven't unlocked that section yet.
I don't fully understand dueling. Can anyone give a quick explanation on how it works? I didn't want to try Google in fear of spoilers.
Best game I've ever played.
Also, to people who didn't get the game because its sold out everywhere.
HA HA YOU SHOULD HAVE FUCKING PREORDERED!

Yeah sure.
In dueling you have to time your pistol pull just right, if your too early, your inaccurate. Too late, and your full of holes. You have to press l2 (or LT for XB) or move the left analog stick back and forth to draw, then, when you draw, you "pick" your shots on the other person. You can either kill them, immobilize them, or disarm them to win.

That was uncalled for :colbert:
So.. do you get one code from the LE or not? Nobody has replied with a proper answer. I mean, most of you have the LE so it wouldn't be hard to tell.
you wouldn't get one code as they all count as separate DLCs
if you care that much get the normal edition
so I'm kinda confused about one of the Stranger missions.
[sp]the one fancy lookin' guy that knows you but you don't know him. Is he a ghost or something? Since you shoot at him in the last mission and nothing happens. They don't explain anything past that, but I guess that's how its supposed to be?[/sp]
Yeah that one really confuzzled me. [sp]I'm guessing it's the ghost of someone John killed in the past.[/sp]
How do you do the hunting missions? And what's the point of the sharpshooter challenges?
you wouldn't get one code as they all count as separate DLCs

Ah, good. I want the stuff, just not the golden guns.

no, my LE came with one code for all of the freebies.
Were do you go for the "American Appitite" mission.
One thing I find annoying is the animation for skinning animals, I wish there was a way to skip it, when you are have to skin like 20 cattle, it's frustrating.
I agree but I find it quicker to pull out your knife and then skin them
Tanners Span, my god... so many cougars... and Bearclaw Camp
whats a good way to get honor, I really want the duster.
whats a good way to get honor, I really want the duster.
In duels shoot the person's hand to disarm them instead of killing them. It's gives a shit load of honor.
how do u do the level 5 hunting challenge??\
1. its ridiculously hard to find a cougar (for some reason when I'm on level 5 i don't seem to see as many cougars..they used to be everywhere but now i cant find a single one)
2. they're so fuqing strong... they hit u once u fall and u get bak they hit u again giving u no chance to take out knife to attack them at all
In duels shoot the person's hand to disarm them instead of killing them. It's gives a shit load of honor.
you always have to shoot more than once though, won't it kill them.
Not if you JUST shoot the hand, then it fast forwards and gives you just that one shot.

Oh wow, Ill have to put my elegant suit on then, its time for a showdown.

I'm not understanding the horse buying feature.
Is the stallion that you obtain after Bonnie MacFarlane's horse breaking mission a level 3 horse? Because I just blew $750 on a horse deed and when I try to use it, it tells me "You already own a horse at that level, you should save it for later".
Surely a horse I got for free at the start of the game can't be as good as the most expensive horse I can buy at this point. Am I just missing something?
Edited:
When you buy a horse, does it automatically replace the one you have hitched? Is so, that would explain it.
Edited:
Looks the the horse you get in that mission is the best one you can buy, and the deed just lets you respawn it if it dies.
Woah 81 people viewing, this wont die soon.
It is.
I'm up for serious freeroam if anyone wants.

How do you make horses you catch yours? I accidentally killed my own horse by shooting it in the head (I was trying to see if I could shoot the branches of a tree and it ran in front of my rifle)
is the kentucky saddler faster than the war horse?
I was just in a multiplayer game when I slid into cover and it launched me 200 feet into the air :sigh:
