Am I the only person that likes the Mark 7/6.5? It's a bit like an F35 crossed with an Abrams, and turned into a suit. The Gen2 suits we've seen on the SIVs are equally awesome. They look exactly like MJOLNIR should- form fitting, yet serviceable as a defense mechanism.

Since reading Glasslands I want to see what Mark VII looks like.
Isn't MK VII what the Spartan IVs are wearing?
Isn't MK VII what the Spartan IVs are wearing?
Nah thats MJOLNIR GEN II. Which is a horrible name as it completely forgets about the original designation system. It seems to be a lot lighter than the first generation.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the new spartan armor kiiinda looks like ass.
No more codpieces 0/10 would not wear into battle
Currently in line for Halo 4, sorry to post again without playing the demo, I'm just looking for something do in line
Damn! You're lucky that you have signal up in there, every PAX or E3 I went to, 0 signal and no overloaded wifi.
No more codpieces 0/10 would not wear into battle
All that time in cold space has shrunk him, previously he needed a separate armor piece to contain his massive girth.

It looks a bit overdesigned but fine otherwise Shotguns are basically tubes with a pump on them, that has some unnecessary metal plating on top
:D
They must have changed it recently, in the RvB Halo 4 video Sarge was holding a shotgun using the Halo reach Design.

New Longbow screen from Certain Affinity's site. Bathe in that sexy skybox.

[editline]8th July 2012[/editline] I have to admit, until they pointed out in the Halo 4 Forge video that Reach Forge parts didn't cast shadows or have proper lighting I never even noticed.

(BS Angel) had a cool conversation with here at Pax East 2011, hung out at the rooster teeth Panel this year at PAX.
They're playing DayZ at RTX http://rtxevent.com/rtxlive/
Jesus fuck, I didn't get to say how much I came over Forge yesterday. Goddamn I didn't think they could make it better.
Good to see the art designers have made the props not look so horrendous when grouped.

A man can dream.
So I JUST got back from RTX, and the Halo 4 demo was AMAZING. I got to play Infinity Slayer on Longbow, for about 7 or 8 minutes. I spent a good amount of time in vehicles, the ghost's cannon felt a little more powerful to me. I mainly used the Battle Rifle, which was similar if not the same one from Halo 3. My loadout had the Hardlight Shield, which was definitely a step up from armor lock, and managed to get me out of a couple close calls. The support upgrades honestly seemed kind of useless, I couldn't even tell you what upgrade my loadout had. I got two ordinance packages, (Which I felt were pretty easy to get) both times I chose the Scattershot. The Scattershot was like a more powerful shotgun, and I can definitely see the difference from the shotgun. My team ended up losing, whichcut the game short one or two minutes early, but overall I really enjoyed what I got to see. I was worried about a couple issues going into the demo, like the whole new points system that goes with infinity slayer, but it was cool to be rewarded for something other than kills. Final Thoughts: The demo was even better than I thought it would be, and I can't wait until the next time I get to play it.

Is there a way to go back to your previous previous checkpoint in Halo 2? I am at the end of Regret in the final gondola, against a banshee, jetpack elites, fuel rod grunts and wasted all my rockets.

All of the Halo cosplay was extremely well done. There were also two people cosplaying as characters from reboot.
