DRM "Designated Markman Rifle"
"A carbine is a short barreled rifle."
will the two of you calm down? Jesus.
Oh jesus what I have I started.
"A carbine is a short barreled rifle."
Yes, I know that. If the DRM was intended to be a carbine it would be classified as a carbine, not a rifle.
Yes, I know that. If the DRM was intended to be a carbine it would be classified as a carbine, not a rifle.
Nah sorry I just thought of it as a carbine as I said before, I wasn't saying it was a carbine. (PS: You wrong! :P)
Nah sorry I just thought of it as a carbine as I said before, I wasn't saying it was a carbine. (PS: You wrong! :P)
I understood what you meant to begin with.
I understood what you meant to begin with.
Then why did you point out it was a rifle? Was it to start an argument?
we got some halo drama up in this bitch word to all my grunts
Then why did you point out it was a rifle? Was it to start an argument?
No dude, it was not to start an arugment, it was to clarify that the DRM is in fact, and rifle, not a carbine. Now that we are all in agreement can we move on? Nothing I post in here is intended to start an argument.
Designated Rifle Marksman.
The moment people start to debate, everyone gets upset. :(
Any one want to get a game going?
This level looks pretty expansive:
Not any more so than most vehicle-based halo levels really. That red-line I drew marks what I assume is going to just be a drop-off, as everything behind it looks like its just part of the great bitmap in the sky. When you look at it that way, it looks about the same size as any typical halo "vehicle arena". I'm not saying it won't be, but I don't think you can really tell from this screenshot. Also, looking at it now, that skybox kiiinda looks like ass. Lets hope that's just cause its and early screenshot.
Also, looking at it now, that skybox kiiinda looks like ass. Lets hope that's just cause its and early screenshot.
That is a low res screenshot, and as you pointed out it was an early build. Most of the sky boxes I've seen ingame are fucking epic. However I must disagree with you, that skybox looks beautiful.

When is everyone getting together to play Custom Games again?
I'm playing Reach as we speak.
The moment people start to debate, everyone gets upset. :(
Discussion is the wrong word. Arguement with no actualy point of discussion would be a better term.
The hell has been with the amount of guests viewing this thread over the last few days? Keep on seeing it at the top of popular and thinking something has been announced.
A year or so earlier I were struggling with playing the campaigns (on most any Halo game really) on legendary, but I've just gotten into Halo again and it feels like they're piss-easy for some reason.
Looks like vehicles have their own icons on the radar now instead of just a bigger red blob.
Not sure if that is a good thing as I always went to check what vehicle such a red blob was only to be blasted off team rocket style by a mad rocket hogger
I was playing Halo CEA last night, and I encountered a bug which I originally encountered back when I played the game for the very first time a decade ago or so. Equal parts of awesome nostalgia and rage on my part.

I think I found the best picture to describe the new HAZOP:
What bug was it?
If you die and restart at a checkpoint, it might not reset the AI properly to their normal state, they stick in their alert state. I was at the point on Assault on the Control Room where it transitions to "If I Had a Super Weapon...", where you walk out and can steal the banshee from the elite. I sniped the two elites and stole the banshee, but a lucky shot from the wraith blew it up and I had to restart. The problem is that it didn't reset the AI, as as soon as the transition kicked in they were all aware of my presence, the elite jumped into the banshee, so I had both of them trying to shoot at me, the wraith was shooting the door from the floor of the canyon, and everybody on the ledge was trying to go through the door. All made worse by the fact that I only had 2 bars of health.
Is there a regular group of Facepunchers that play together/do custom games? I'd love to join. I'm usually playing on late nights.
Is there a regular group of Facepunchers that play together/do custom games? I'd love to join. I'm usually playing on late nights.
I've had a pending friend request with FacepunchReach for like 6 months now
playing together is this mythical thing we all aspire to, but have yet to accomplish.
Hasn't Delta put together some Custom Game nights before?
