Before Halo Reach I used to host customs almost every weekend.
Unless I wasn't here then someone else did them.

Well the chief is a genetically engineered to be stronger, faster etc. and hes quite tall, but it is better that they chose an actual actor.
Looks pretty awesome. They're giving it the full treatment, the type that befits a Halo miniseries.
Im guessing the armour Chief is wearing is Mark IV, looks like the one seen in Halo Legends The Package but not as Mark VI looking.

Chief is strong but if you look at his shape, hes not one of those ridiculous looking body builders where it looks like the skin around their biceps is going to rip apart, hes incredibly muscular but he makes up for it in his towering height so he looks more in proportion.

Not to mention a lot of his strength comes through the augments he received - if I'm not mistaken weren't the SPARTAN IIs given an intramuscular injection of some protein complex or something to increase muscle density?

It looks really good but I really don't like how they're using the Halo: Legends suite for Master Chief. Why not use the ones from the revised book cover of Fall of Reach? It looks so much cooler.

I loved the little miniseries they did with the ODST videos, I hope they show more action involving the normal marines in this one.
I think he is a ODST, in training to be one. The Symbol on their armour makes me think of 'dropping down'
And "Helljumper" is in the chant in the teaser trailer.
Or I could be completely wrong.

I never liked any version of the MK IV due to it looking more advanced then the Mk V but at least it looked from different then both the Mark V and Mark VI and not like a really clunky version of the MK VI like the one in forward onto the dawn looks like.
That poster looks a bit weird to me, I think it's because everything looks like plastic and because of Master Chief's visor.

I have to agree, no Mark IV has ever looked good. I always imagined it would look more like V than VI because Jorges upgrade IV looks pretty much the same as V and so does the cover art on Cole Protocol.

Yeah I agree I always pictured the Mark IV to look more like a heavy, beefier version of the MK V. Right now in the mini series it looks like a heavy version of the Mark VI which really doesn't makes that much sense.

I mean, the director already has everything neccessary available; the setting, background story, importand characters and events in timeline, vehicles, equipment, weapons, spaceships, that sort of plot stuff.
