I watched that forward unto dawn trailer without any sound and maybe half attention.
Before the last scene I was under the impression that master chief exploded through the wall and the cadets were running in terror from him while he tried to hunt and kill them. Followed by traps planted in the forest and hunting them down on a warthog.
I'd probably watch it if that were the case.

Everything Looks great but I still don't like how that's the Mark IV but whatever they did a great job on creating it.
I not to sure about the main character of the series, he might get a bit annoying to me.
Why don't you like that its the Mark IV? it takes place during the time he uses it.

Your Spot on Arachnidus, I would be more OK with it if it were a variant of the MK VI or even the MK VII since it looks too much like the suite he wears in Halo 2 and 3 then something that's suppose to predate it. I'm not saying it looks bad because I actually really like the look of it I just wish they went with something older looking or not as advanced like what Jorge wore in Halo: Reach, that would be a perfect MK IV!

I don't know, I think the MJOLNIR looked fine. The Marine/ODST armor and the MA5s looked pretty good. The Warthog (WETA, I think?) was just incredible. I'm really liking FUD so far. Whether or not the plot can match the actual presentation is yet to be seen, but from what little we've seen, I think it'll be good.
At the least, it'll be bearable. It's got what looks like a good romance subplot (which is, of course, necessary because it's 2012), a coming-of-age vibe, more fodder for the Halo canon, and, of course, the Master Chief and some marines gunning down legions of Covenant. It's all I ask out of most sci-fi (I rather enjoyed Transformers 1 :v:), but especially a Halo production. Considering they're taking notes from the Halo Bible (to be expected with 343 at the helm) and are treating it like the big production it should be, I have faith.
Much more so than when it was announced, anyway.
At the end of the day the way I see it is, it cant be as bad as some of the Legends shorts.

It's a terrible feeling when you get into a rocket warthog turret, and try doing the thing where you use your gun to tell your driver where to go. I ended up killing a friendly wraith with 2 people on it, and as I saw my rockets traveling towards the wraith I knew the error of my ways, and still got booted for betrayal :v:
It really reminds me of SG-1 so far...youngsters off in an adventure...or maybe its just the forest environment..

This and SG-1 (plus SGA and SGU) were filmed in Vancouver.
The location where they're shooting the Academy was the Tollan's new homeworld in SG-1. It is the Vancouver University campus.
It was also used in BSG, and maybe Caprica
