You've been doing it since I've started coming to this thread. I'd appreciate it if you'd transition to a more open-minded way of posting. Disagreeing is fine, but people are not dumb just because you feel differently, no matter how absurd their viewpoint may sound to you.
Continuing on, as a bird, I feel lizards are very cool. Why wouldn't we want to be lizards?
The Jackal reminds me more of a lizard then a bird, like some dinosaurs like raptors, a lizard with feathers.
Then again, modern birds are believed to have evolved from Dinosaurs.

I just feel that it's a bit odd how 343i feels the need to change almost everything that's been established since Halo 1 and 2. I also do not like the obvious Gears of War influence on a lot of covenant.

Where are you seeing Gears of War influence? Nothing I've seen reminds me of Gears, and I have played the first 2 games.

To me the Halo 4 grunts looks pretty similar to the wretches from Gears of War and the Locus Helmet looks a lot like the Theron Guard Helmet. Oh and the new Elites look a bit to much like the Locust to me.
I am a skilled pilot of all vehicles in Halo that carry at least two people and are capable of flying.

Yeah I'll do that now. I just find it a bit easier to rate people then to type up a whole comment about how I disagree with them or why I think their wrong.

Fair, but I (and apparently others) feel that disagreeing without stating why is a little rude. I see many posts (especially in this thread) that I disagree with, but I try to avoid sharing my opinion unless I'm prepared to type about it. It's kind of like a guy in the back of the room during a discussion that sits around and just yells "DUMB" when he disagrees.

So this evenings Halo 4's play test consisted of online matchmaking stress testing. Played on a new map, all I will say about it is, I reminds me of a couple fan favorites built into one map. I finally got into the seat of a Warthog, I really like the handing of it, I think it's a bit more fine tuned than previous Warthogs. And that's about it, the rest is stuff everyone know about and or experienced first hand.

Was it a mix of Blood Gulch and Waterworks? That's previously been hinted at by Frankie.

All I was able or willing to discuss of my opinion/experience of last night's session was posted in my post already.
So can you say if the vehicles are stronger or less resistant to bullets unlike their papier mache counterparts in Reach
I have to agree with Spartan regarding the Halo 4 Jackal design, they look too much like Dinosaurs.
The Jackals in the previous games, especially in Reach clearly were an avian species, they had beaks and talons, plus all the feathers.
These ones look like Godzilla
I really just want 343 to stop redesigning EVERY thing. Changes are nice, but goddamn, calm down guys.
In the mean time, I'm away in the uk for a wedding for 3 weeks, so no halo for me, not to mention the spotty internet I have access to. :(
