There is a wide variety of colors within the customization, just like Halo 3 and Reach.
Golf Club I can't help you with. I have no access to Forge playtesting and probably never will.

Those animations were quite good for sfm,very reminicent of the chief in the end of The Storm.
If anyone still has Halo 2, I'm able to host really good connection servers on Xbox connect, (program that tricks your Xbox into thinking a online game is system link, pretty much the only way to play halo 2 online). We could probably do some FFA or team games if enough people come.

No, they were ordered to go to the gym that day and pick a fight with John to basically test his progress and his reaction. The Sergeant that entered was unaware of the order, due to his reaction in the aftermath, and assumed John was a normal marine.

Speaking of Firebase Alpha, I find it kind of disappointing in Halo 1 how we never saw a UNSC presence that wasn't actively attacking a place. I remember Foehammer talking about the place and some command shuttle, but we never got to see any UNSC encampments or fortifications throughout the game.
Now of course, I know that there'd be no way for it to make sense in the story if we had to defend Alpha Base against the Flood at any point, seeing as after the level 343 Guilty Spark the rest of the campaign is a continuous sequence of events, but I wouldn't have minded getting to see Alpha base before that during the campaign for the sake of pacing (IE, in-between T&R and The Silent Cartographer would have been a good part).
To be honest, The Flood (Kind of a crappy title in my opinion, could've named it something else, or just outright "Halo") added too much filler to the story that I almost feel disappointed by some aspects missing in the original story when I play Halo 1. Kinda like the way Reach just skips around during the calendar between levels with little sense of how much time has passed other than a short notification that is there for a second. I do wish the older Halo games had those time/location texts at the bottom of the screen though. Maybe Halo 4 will continue that detail from Reach.

I have high hopes for Halo 4, but I've never been too opinionated about how a story is portrayed as long as it makes canonical sense and is doing Master Chief justice.

Someone with decent knowledge of the source engine should really get Halo 3's AR ported, the Halo 1 AR looks so terrible and out of place it's not even funny.

I did one awhile back when I first started to practice porting, it has no shaders and ammo counter, but I guess its acceptable
