Okay now I understand the dumbs for the downvote, facepunch and reddit are my two tabs. Nobody seems to realize I'm talking about the multiplayer though. I love the campaign for Reach and H3 but the MP for reach is just not Halo to me. It's like an easier add-on addition. Melee to pop shields is like H3? Do you seriously not notice the difference? You shoot someone with an AR for 3 seconds on Halo 3, beat down, it's a kill. You shoot someone with your AR in H:R for 3 seconds before the shields pop, melee, now the shields are popped and you have to melee or shoot one more time. In H3 you can kill someone before the shields are popped with a melee, in H:R you can't. No, Halo Reach does not use hitscan, Halo 3 doesn't even have hitscan, do your research. Do you know what hitscan is? It's your bullet hitting exactly where you shot, you have to lead bullets to players in distance with the DMR in Reach, play Blood Gulch and you see it yourself. That's not hitscan. Halo 2 has hitscan, perfect example right there.
i'm really confused about what you're complaining about here. everything you just described sounds pretty great to me.
New Promethean related images and info from Joystiq.
Its kind of annoying that they all look very similar. One of the things I liked about the covenant were how different they all looked, not only because it just made them more interesting, but it was easier to tell what role they played mid-fight.

If anything, it stops everyone from getting cheap kills with 3 bullets and a melee and it made double beatdowns way less common. I'll even find the weekly update where they have said this, in case you're not convinced. That being said Halo Reach is in no way noobified.
Melee to pop shields is like H3? Do you seriously not notice the difference? Yes, I do know what hit scan is, I've been working in the gaming industry for almost 9 years, and the 3 pieces of paper on my wall, including the bachelors of science in multiple fields of game design speak for that though. That's not a perfect example, that's called latency.

'Easy' is incredibly subjective and you seriously sound ignorant. Maybe you're just good at the game? Secondly different shields don't make the game easier, just different. Halo 3 and Reach are both good in their own respects, you simply are better at one than the other. Personally I sometimes find Halo 3 to be much easier, and Reach challenging.
I just pre ordered halo 4 special edition.
I found hunters quite annoying to deal with on legendary if you didnt have any of the big guns (Spartan laser, rocket launcher..ect)
They weren't too bad in Reach once you realised that you could hurt them without having to hit the orange parts. Just keep shooting and they eventually go down.
That's pretty funny, considering your negative in Reach MLG, and it has bleed through (halo 3 shield/health system.)
Lets not do this, ok?
That's pretty funny, considering your negative in Reach MLG, and it has bleed through (halo 3 shield/health system.)
I haven't had an Xbox for almost a year, otherwise it'd change. Also I rather do MLG in custom games.
That's pretty funny, considering your negative in Reach MLG, and it has bleed through (halo 3 shield/health system.)
What does a negative K/D in a gamemode he barely played has anything to do with this?
I found hunters quite annoying to deal with on legendary if you didnt have any of the big guns (Spartan laser, rocket launcher..ect)
Oh god, on Pillar of Autumn I got stuck with the 2 hunters in the factory, took me a good 10 minutes using what ever guns I could find on the floor and a lot of punches.
What does a negative K/D in a gamemode he barely played has anything to do with this?
Hes complaining that reach is "made for noobs" because of all the changes from halo 3. A playlist that basically mimics halo 3, he doesn't do good in.

Bleed through, jump height, movement speed, no armor abilities (besides jet packs) and Neutral power ups on maps.
who gives a gay fuck
But duuuuuuuuuuuude my k/d has to be high otherwise girls wont like me :(
And today marks the end of my 3 month XBL gold.
But duuuuuuuuuuuude my k/d has to be high otherwise girls wont like me :(
But girls on Xbox are 12 year old boys.
With halo 4 coming out in a few months its going to suck if the xbox 720 comes out and it turns out every game is played like this http://www.patentlyapple.com/patently-apple/2012/09/microsoft-envisions-where-gaming-is-going-and-its-wild.html but im hopping that is just for the kinect 2 and i can actually sit down and use a control in my tiny little bedroom or i will end up saving for a good computer and going to pc gaming/ps3

Microsoft would never completely ditch the controller.
