Anyone else find Halo Reach sort of hard to enjoy anyway, seeing as we're on the topic.
Its not the game, I love it, but the 360 just struggles to play this fucker. Frame-rate drops and slow-downs up the ass.

Don't lose hope just yet. The return of Halo to the PC is still a possibility, hinted several times (unofficially of course) Several windows 8 marketing featuring Halo 4, and some trailers saying "System requirements pending) next to the Xbox requirements.

Even than, I heard some shit about Windows 8 bridging up with the 360 or something? I keep hearing rumors of that.
They better do it, even if it's 3+ years late, I want my silky smooth HD Halo Reach.

That looks really shitty compared to most other mcfarlane Halo figures. I think Ill just stick with my Halo 3 Cortana from the ten year anniversary packs.

There's tighter integration with Live, but it seems it's more as a support method for the Xbox. Your Windows 8 tablet would be able to act as a SmartGlass device, etc.
Honestly, apart from updating DirectX, Microsoft hasn't shown much attention towards PC games for quite a while, their games for "core PC gamer" involved Age of Empires and Microsoft Flight, and they canned the dev team behind Flight not long after making those comments.

The thing is, we don't know when is the 720 (or any other name) is going to come out, only rumors. And then we don't know if its going to be backwards compatible.
And even then, the launch games may not be good, or many.
So I say it depends on how much you want an Xbox.
Durango (call it this until it gets a real name) isn't coming out in 2013.
The earliest we'll see anything is either an [I]announcement[/I] at PAX East or E3 2013.
Same goes for Orbis (the code name for PS4 (not that it's relevant to this thread))

Yeah I know but I just don't like the style to it. I prefer the long swords from the original as well as the original shield and the new face looks a bit odd like it'd fit better with Gears of War or something more dark than Halo.
