The thing that I really hated about halo wars was the Covenant hero units, kinda ruined that whole side of the game for me.

Dont get me wrong I can see why people disliked glasslands so much, but once the ball starts to roll it can be a good read.
Also slightly off-topic, what good novels for star wars fiction is there? Been meaning to look around but different sites have different opinions and its hard to judge which books will generaly be a good read.
I didn't get to read glasslands but can someone point out the parts where the author messed up the fiction?

Tuskin will disagree, but I recommend the commando series.
Other than that, good ones are: The X-Wing series, the Jedi Academy trilogy, the Corellian trilogy, Darksaber, and Heir to the Empire.
Those are good places to start if you haven't read them.
They should have had Eric Nylund write the new Halo books, I loved his series.

It was a heated topic on the NeoGAF Halo thread a couple weeks back, pretty sure Frankie might have mentioned it somewhere.
They overreact to things all the time, however, so it might not be true.
I hope they have the Mark V helmet and not in a cartoonish way that Halo 3 did it. Its my favorite helmet...

Grunts are so cute in Halo: CE. I miss their cuteness.
Also just finished Two Betrayals and Keyes on Legendary in Halo: CE, which means I've finally completed the campaign on Legendary for the first time in about 10 years. I mean I could have done it age ago but only started doing it a couple weeks ago. Two Betrayals is a bitch to finish on Legendary.

I can [I]kinda[/I] see what they were going for. Maybe this version of the pelican incorporates both human and covenant technology, thus the rounded edges and bulbousness. The end result is pretty goddamned ugly though.
Think they're just trying tom ake it smaller as a sign of progression of its technological growth since things do tend to get smaller as time goes by...but either way it looks like the bastard child of a Hornet and a Pelican.

I reckon it would look fine if they cut off that chunk off the bottom directly behind the turret.

Still, I love everything else. Let's see how many disagrees I can get. Let's see how many people don't agree that I love this design.
I'm looking forward to see if they have any non-banshee flying vehicles available to the player though. Any word on whether or not the hornet/ falcon is coming back?
