Halo 4 it is just weapons, nothing else. COD it can be anything, a perk, a kill streak, a weapon. They're nothing alike.
You guys flip flop like crazy. Look, we all agree that they are similar, but not different yes? Then lets leave it at that instead of arguing pointlessly. Sorry for bringing it up.
You guys flip flop like crazy.
Not really, my stance on the supply drops have always been that, and always have been expressed like that. But yeah, lets move on.
They're similar but Halo is taking a very toned down approach in comparison. [editline]4th October 2012[/editline]
People are going to hate me
don't worry, we've had that covered for a bit now
6750 x 4500px. 225dpi. Don't know inches/centimetres.
now to figure out how to make it into a poster :v:
One thing I can easily say I wish they hadn't included is the DMR. It never really seemed like a Halo weapon to me, and it made the Sniper Rifle obsolete unless you're at extreme range. Guess I'll have to wait to see what it's like ingame, though. [sp]And the inclusion of a Railgun might be enough to make up for it, I've thought of that as a cool idea since the fan-made railguns people made for Halo CE[/sp]
Just remember, we now have the BR, DMR, carbine, and the light rifle to worry about in halo 4. This is going to be [del]fun[/del] hell.

Watch it become MLG pro weapon of choice. :v:
Not to mention the one-hit kill Promethean Sniper! Though it probably has low ammo.
And the one hit kill railgun.
And the one hit kill railgun.
True, but as far as I know the Railgun is close range, not a cross map weapon of instant death.
True, but as far as I know the Railgun is close range, not a cross map weapon of instant death.
That's why we have the Spartan Laser.
That's why we have the Spartan Laser.
I don't know why we even need that anymore, considering half the time in Reach it was easier to just get somewhere in the proximity of the vehicle, press the hijack button and watch as you spartan magically teleports onto the vehicle in question and begins dismantling it with his fists. I swear 95% of attempted roadkill in Reach ended in either the guy just standing there and hijacking you right before being run over, or armor lock.
I really think I preferred Halo 3's multiplayer to Halo Reach's. Not sure why, though. I think for a start I enjoyed the maps a whole lot more, and second... I feel like the armour abilities in Halo Reach (like the aforementioned armour lock) made the gameplay a little more annoying for some reason (specifically armous lock, actually).

This is going to be [del]fun[/del] hell.
The BR is fine, it has (Or at least had in the past) a decent bullet spread/bullet physics and is probably one of the best designed guns in the game, even though I didn't use it all that much myself. It can be effective at any range, but not stupidly effective like the DMR. Aside from that, the Carbine never really bothered me all that much and I don't know enough about the light rifle to comment on it. Halo 3's was streamlined and a ton of fun for a lot of reasons. When you got destroyed out of the blue in Halo 3 it was more or less something to laugh about, but in Reach there didn't seem to be that same feeling. And the maps in Reach were just direct Rips from campaign levels which were never built for multiplayer combat, as well as forgeworld maps that the team threw together in their spare time. I found the good side of the community in Reach didn't really come through as much as they did In H3, either. (In terms of Custom Gamemodes, Machinima, etc.) [editline]4th October 2012[/editline] Massive amount of edits mode engage. I wouldn't actually mind the DMR so much if Halo 4 has the same tendency to spawn massive amounts of large colorful explosions that previous titles (Scratch Reach) have had, so it's not as clean-cut a process to pace out 5 shots and kill somebody on the other side of the map. One of the other fun parts of H3 was being able to leg it with the flag back to your base while beings bounced all over hell by things exploding around you. In Reach, when things exploded anywhere close to you you tended to die. It took away that whole stereotypical one man army badass thing you could occasionally pull off in games prior.
And the one hit kill railgun.
When I used the rail gun I had trouble keeping track of people, its like the laser in that you cant hold the charge in and you just have to hope they dont move just before its finished charging, so I never hit shit with it.
Halo 2 Anniversary better have dual needlers. [editline]4th October 2012[/editline] And Sword lunge.
wait what halo 2 anniversary
There is no Halo 2 anniversary announced or confirmed as of yet.
Bromigos, remember, Forward Unto Dawn's first episode releases today.
I think I might wait until I get my copy of the LE so I can watch it in one continuous episode, no cuts or cliffhangers.
I cant seem to find anywhere that sells the Special Edition OST.
Halo 2 Anniversary better have dual needlers. [editline]4th October 2012[/editline] And Sword lunge.
If they're smart they'll do exactly what they did with CEA.
If they're smart they'll do exactly what they did with CEA.
They should and I want the ORIGNAL Multiplayer, not recreated maps for Halo 4. even though it would be cool
Bromigos, remember, Forward Unto Dawn's first episode releases today.
Nope, tomorrow.
They should and I want the ORIGNAL Multiplayer, not recreated maps for Halo 4. even though it would be cool
I dunno, a remade Zanzibar sounds like fucking sex
Anyone here remember the Halo CE custom map named Yoyorast Island?
My favorite custom map was Coldsnap, the winter environment made it feel so cozy.
