Doesn't sound legit, a lot of it seems like the ranting of fans. Removal of Firefight is ludicrous. I could see a new coop mode and aesthetic replacement of currency, but not in this manner.

The only good idea I see there is being able to join games that have already started. That's one thing that's always bugged me about Halo MP.

I read through the scans, a lot of those facts are legit.

Besides we know 99% of those who said no are still buying it. If not brand new, they'll get it second hand.
I like how you don't have to grind through uninteresting unlocks just to get one that you like. Just grind until you have enough points.
Hopefully these unlocks will be relatively cheap.
I'm sorry everyone but that Elite looked pretty fuckin' awesome.
I'm pretty OK with most of these details, and I really wanna see how the custom loadouts work out. People forget that it's not just a Call of Duty thing, they just made it famous. I like to think that just because it's Halo, it'll work out. You can put the same feature in a shitty game and a good game, it'll shine brighter in the good game.
Also, I'm done taking any official or dedicated Halo forums seriously. Some of these fanboys are a bunch of idiots, my best friend included unfortunately. I really can't stand people who use the logic of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". If everyone followed that logic, we'd still have fucking Nokia phones. It's called moving the series along and trying new things.
I can only see this as 343 taking our beloved series to new, unseen heights, while obviously still retaining the Halo name. I'm going to reserve all judgement until the Holiday. Not just because it's the smart thing to do, but everything I've seen so far actually looks really fucking good.

BUT looking at the scan then the picture from the megazine from afar, all the paragraphs match up in size. And a lot of words match as well, like the Second last paragraph "That is not to say 343 Industries" you can clearly see from the Afar photo and the scan.
All the censored stuff seems to be story related.
I'm pretty excited(I missed you Carbine), but Forerunner Vision, instant respawn, and especially the removal of Firefight sound a bit meh to me.
The option to join games in progress is DELICIOUS, though.
I like the idea of Forerunner Vision, so long as it has massive cooldown and you can't do shit while using it. (Like Blacklight Retribution)

Those Elites look like they're ripped straight from UT3.
Im liking the new elite he doesnt look as sinister as the Halo Reach ones but not a fan of the pale skin.
But however I am disappointed at that elites wont be playable, and the no firefight, it seems like BS to me they have no reason to remove them.

I only question why that Elite lacks armour on his arms, seems a bit odd, I think, but other than that, it looks normal enough to me
I'm guessing the design aesthetics have to be based around the fact that the Covenant is pretty much like the Titanic right about now, seeing how you have those who believe the truth and defected, or those who refuse to believe the truth and are still loyal.
Maybe the Elites have decided to take off parts of their armor as part of a symbolic meaning?

I disagree.
1. The Gameinformer article that was leaked is such bullshit I can smell it from here so I dont even know why people are discussing this.
2. It claims that Halos match up system is dated, its not dated, it works when I join a game I want to play a game not some half assed 2 minutes to the end of a slayer game where im already losing from where space has been made from someone quitting. The mechanics maybe old but it works, if it isnt broke dont fix it, the whole disadvantage crap is stupid ive come out winning when people have quit.
4. Knowing the spawns of the power weapons gives you a huge tactical advantage and its thats important, making them drop in the map at random points is stupid and unbalanced.
If what he's saying is 100% true I don't see a huge issue with it, only on instant respawn, fuck instant respawn.

And I'll always side with join-in session. If they add a penalty for early leavers and a small bonus for helping a team after joining, plus my XBL connection always drops out.
Maybe if they tweaked it to only the leavers being able to join, or invite a friend so it's not randomers.
