People complained about armor lock but using it in a ghost's face felt so badass.
I remember reading about the team at Bungie taking a lot of inspiration from the Alien movies, and hot damn did I notice it during watching Aliens. There were a lot of instances that just felt like moments I'd seen before (like the freaking out in the camera recording in 343GS).
I only use armor lock when I know the map has a ghost. otherwise I use sprint.

But you can be such a bitch with armor lock and a shotgun. Is invasion still set up so the spartans get armor lock+shotgun in a loadout and elites get a sword? Cause armor lock and a shotgun basically makes a sword pointless.

Jesus H. Christ I am sure that I have mistranslated Phillip's describtion, someone make atleast a sketch, or provide a picture of a person that is the closest match to his describtion as possible. You have no idea how confusing and irritating it is to read Phillip doing all this stuff while imagining him talking and looking like the the fucking Newman from Seinfield. Like reading a serious war novel and the main character is a freaking clown.

Does anyone know how the quitting penalty works in halo 4? It better not be the same as reach's horrible banning system, where it basically forces you to AFK during a 4v1 match because if you quit you'll eventually get banned and put on "probation" where you can't quit a single time in a week or you just get banned again. hopefully they have a better system, perhaps losing XP every time or something.

I strongly disagree. There's a few helmets here and there that are a little off but I'm actually quite satisfied with a lot of it. They're not bad designs at all, especially Locus.

Just stop the guy from autojoining new games if he's AFK where the old system would normally ban you.
The old punishment for quitting was just stupid, it punished quitters by banning them and putting them on probation. There are SEVERAL reasons as to why someone would quit and they shouldn't be punished like that. Having the rest of your team quit and making it a 4v1 shit fest and basically being forced to quit, being disconnected from the internet for whatever reason, having a friend send you an invite in the middle of a match, etc. etc. being banned and put on probation for shit like that was insanely dumb
