The Halo Thread V8: Nooo Mongoose, Come Back! - Games

I don't think i've ever heard of any big game title (or even smaller ones) where they had a set release date, but actually changed the release date to an earlier time. I've heard of games releasing DLC early, like borderlands 2 releasing the mechromancer DLC a week early as a surprise. The only time i hear release dates being moved on actual full games though is just to delay them not release them earlier [editline]16th October 2012[/editline] also a majority of the halo games have come out in early - mid November, most game franchises like to keep their release dates similar

Pre-ordered Halo 4 LE today and bought 12 months of xbl gold. I am ready.

Master Chief's new armour is growing on me. It might not look as pretty as the Mark IV armour, but it looks like it could take more of a punch. Looks more... war like.

I bought halo megablocks at a garage sale. One of the master chief's leg is missing and the sniper rifle was snapped in half. Does that count as an awesome collection

Still, I think he's one of those "halo vets" so I'm going to take his word and point out that jesus fucking christ this anticipation is seriously killing me I'm so glad I've got school, days go by pretty fast when you have something to do. I was unemployed back when Mass Effect 3 came out and holy shit the days felt long when there was nothing to do but wait. A friend's holding a Halo 4 launch party, 9-11 people gathering to a single house for the weekend for some LAN goodness. I hope I'll be able to go.
