Welp just finished it in one sitting (it was on easy, I just wanted to catch up on the story). All 6 (ODST and Wars included, chronological order of course) games done, now Im pumped for 4
So you played Halo Wars, Halo Reach, Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2 (stopped midway), Halo ODST, Halo 2 (the other levels after leaving New Mombasa), and Halo 3 in that order?
Damn, How many hours?
No clue, but I spent most my free time this week in between lectures doing so :v: (Not TOO long though, everything was on easy. Didn't want a challenge, Just story.
Instead of going through the whole series, I'm just gonna do a playthrough of the main trilogy to get in a Master Chiefy mood, all on Heroic. This'll be my first time playing on Heroic, actually(DON'T JUDGE ME )

At gamestop today and i found the halo 3 limited edition hard drive for like 20 bucks oh yeah.
Do Legendary, I believe in you!
Yeah, maybe you'll be done just in time for Halo 4 by Christmas time! Next year's Christmas, I mean.
Hey what comes in the Halo 4 legendary edition does anyone know.
Hey what comes in the Halo 4 legendary edition does anyone know.
There isnt going to be one I'm afraid. Only limited edition.
There isnt going to be one I'm afraid. Only limited edition.
Well mean the limited edition
I have Confession. Halo 1 and ODST are the only ones I've beaten higher then easy Solo, beat both on Normal. Halo 2 PC I almost beat on Heroic, but I couldn't get past Chief's final level, Brutes were a fucking pain in the ass since they were all going Berserk so they became fast Bullet Sponges, so then I didn't have any ammo for the flood.

The game disc in a steel facade case with a stenciled UNSC device on it - Aesthetic fluff War Games Map Pack; nine maps that will be included in a future DLC -Can get it separately from the SE and you save money Instant access to all 8 Specializations - If SE Player plays before November 20th they'll get access to them by the 30th UNSC Infinity Briefing Packet including MJOLNIR armor schematics, weapon information and a layout of the indoctrination of the SPARTAN-IVs - Lore Fluff The 90-minute extended edition of the ViDoc, Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn - I'd just wait for the Blu-Ray/DVD release for a full rage of special features Exclusive Assault Rifle Prime weapon skin - Just a skin, doesn't look that great either Bonus in-fiction content providing backstory on characters and stories in Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn - Will probably be included in the Home Release The Making of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn -Ditto Special Featurette: Bringing Gaming to Reality - Ok that sounds interesting Spartan Prime Skin - Same as the weapon skin Spartan Prime Emblem - That looks neat, but not worth the price Cryo-Chamber Avatar prop - Stupid IMO Avatar Spartan Recruit Armor - Meh Honestly IMO the LE is only great if you're into the Lore stuff.

that sounds awesome thks '
Also AFAIK, Forward Unto Dawn and its special feature are only view-able on Halo Waypoint, which you can only use if you have a Gold Membership, it isn't part of the Physical Package.
Honestly IMO the LE is only great if you're into the Lore stuff.
It's great for collectors in general really. The digital content is eh, but the lore, case, and behind the scenes documentary are all things I look forward to in limited editions. As for saving money by buying War Games separately, that's only because it excludes all other features that are in the Limited Edition, so of course it'll be cheaper. No sense in making Regular Edition + War Games cost more than Limited Edition that includes War Games as well as other things that may or may not be your cup of tea.
Uh I dont know if I'm late but in the live action Halo 4 trailer, when they're waiting in line a speaker calls forward '018' a girl steps forward... But 018 was Kirk... which is a guy. Edit: Oh I hear it now, Yeah that was 058 not 018 silly me.

It says 058, Linda's number
Just watched Forward Unto Dawn episode 3, and fucking hell man, it's outstanding but I don't think it would be half as good if the sound design wasn't as good as it is. Outstanding work and it's shit that there's only gonna be 5 episodes total.

A movie would be great and stuff but I think that theyd choke on the canon and lore for it, with a movie you'd be pressed to fit in all the vital stuff and you'd miss out on a lot of the nuances of the Halo universe. The way I see it is this. Imagine trying to fit all the episodes of The Walking Dead or Game Of Thrones into a 2 - 3 hour movie, it just wouldn't work. I'd be much happier with a series than a movie.

Unique and 2. has references and tie ins to the main story.
For the map packs that coming out in the future, what maps would you guys like to see? I want Zanzibar to make a return.
Nothing from Reach, that's for sure.
Nothing from Reach, that's for sure.
One Defiant map was okay. The space control room one.
The map from Halo: CE where it was like a UNSC frigate split down the middle, was always a good laugh playing against a few people on that one.
