That makes a lot more sense because I was trying to figure out how he looks like he's in his early 30's in Halo 4 but FUD takes place like 15 or 25 years before Halo 4.

I think im going to miss the quiet periods between releases. It feels like we can actually discuss something without it disappearing 3 pages back in under an hour.
You know, Chief will inevitably team up with the crew of the Infinity, but I've pondered;
What would happen if the UNSC tried sticking their grubby mitts on something they can't comprehend and would probably fuck everything over, and Chief and Cortana had to stop them somehow? The ruthlessness of the UNSC isn't often touched on in the games, and ONI - if it's still around - certainly wouldn't mind taking threats out of the way for humanity's goals. Like a certain hero trying to stop them from doing something stupid. And while the Covenant feared the Spartans, imagine human reactions if [i]the[/i] Spartan suddenly obstructed them.
(Just random ranting about things that'll probably never happen.)
Finally hit General, I can put Halo: Reach Matchmaking to a rest and get warmed up for Halo 4.

I've *briefly* entertained the idea that Chief could come to terms with what was done to him, and decide that he has better things to do than kill what the UNSC tells him to.

Me and a friend were discussing this yesterday, predicting that Master Chief will probably go rogue by Halo 6.
The problem then is having Human enemies on par with the Covenant and the Prometheans. Although now that I think about it:
Grunts > Marines
Jackals > ODSTs
Elites > Spartan IVs
Spec ops elites > ONI agents
