You guys wanna organize a playdate? Either Halo 3 or Halo: CEPC is fine with me. I'd be up for Reach too, though.
So no then? Alright, back to playing with pissed off 13-year olds.

Holy shit that was incredible. Any more leaked gameplay?
Game of the millenium... All milleniums
And the halo ce assault and halo 3 assault Although the halo ce rifle had terrible accuracy you could spray down a group of grunts in a few seconds and its 60 round clip was awesome
If you tapfired it had pretty decent accuracy, could pin down elites from range. Of course the pistol was still the optimal weapon for mid-range but the AR wasn't half bad.

I'd play it
Battlefield 2542
* 2552
I'd play it
I've always wanted to play as marine in the style of Brothers in Arms.
I've always wanted to play as marine in the style of Brothers in Arms.
I always wanted a Battlefield-esque game set in the Halo universe. Not necessarily using Halo's style of gameplay (of course, it would have the core feeling of being in the Halo universe), but still being in the world. 64+ player matches. Huge, sprawling maps. Pelicans and other air vehicles used for actual, perfectly valid tactical reasons instead of "lol kills", organized infantry/armor assaults...a man can dream. A man can dream.
I'd like to see a strategy/tactical style game that lets you be the captain of a UNSC/Covenant starship tbh

Battlefield 2 is dated though. You'd be best off with ARMA3 or something.
I'd like to see a strategy/tactical style game that lets you be the captain of a UNSC/Covenant starship tbh
This. I would love a good Halo RTS, Halo Wars just didn't appeal to me. I remember seeing a Halo mod for C&C Generals that would've been awesome, but Microsoft killed it for whatever reason. [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] Found the trailer:
They killed it because it apparently posed a significant threat to Halo: Wars or something :v:
That sounds about right, considering Halo Wars was pretty shoddy as far as RTSes go. I liked the story but it just didn't feel right. [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] although I will say that I thought the Spirit of Fire was a sexy ship [t]http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110602023329/halo/images/b/b0/UNSC_Spirit_of_Fire.png[/t] mmmmmmm
Is there any hope of a PC port of Halo 3?

The halo wars cutscenes were always my favorite imo, very well designed compared to the other games
The halo wars cutscenes were always my favorite imo, very well designed compared to the other games
I disagree, I prefer ingame cutscenes over prerendered ones.
I prefer them, too. But the Halo Wars pre-rendered cutscenes just looked 100x better.
Well, obviously. That's really the point of them. I like ingame cutscenes though, it keeps the illusion.
So about this Spartan Ops thing, with them bringing out these missions every week. Do they replace the ones from the week before or would you be able to play say, a mission from the first week the game's been out a few months later?
It would seem like they get replaced, however 343 said that "anyone would be able to get back up to speed" after not following it
I wonder how spartan ops delivery will be handled though. Will it be a bunch of disc-locked maps/missions that are unlocked at specific times, or will we have to download the maps as they are released?
