Wait, why does Master Chief have his Halo 2-3 Mjolnir armor (I forgot which version of Mjolnir he wears in Halo 3) instead of the one he wore before the Covenant attacked Earth?
Wait, why does Master Chief have his Halo 2-3 Mjolnir armor (I forgot which version of Mjolnir he wears in Halo 3) instead of the one he wore before the Covenant attacked Earth?
He's actually wearing MK IV but for some reason they went with the Halo: Legends version which looks almost exactly like the MK VI. A really bad decision because it's going to confuse a lot of people.
"Hey guys, you know that anime series everyone hated?" "...yes?" "Its cannon now and we're using elements from it in this new series we're doing."
"Hey guys, you know that anime series everyone hated?" "...yes?" "Its cannon now and we're using elements from it in this new series we're doing."
Yeah honestly if I was Frankie I'd just forget all of Halo: Legends.
Frank O'Connor worked on Halo Legends, he was a director and writer on some of them. AFAIK, the only non-canon story in Legends is Spartan 1337.
Frank O'Connor worked on Halo Legends, he was a director and writer on some of them. AFAIK, the only non-canon story in Legends is Spartan 1337.
I thought the feudal Japan style elite story was non-canon too. I'm probably wrong though.
the armor continuity in 343's halo is so fubar dont even bother with reasoning it
Frank O'Connor worked on Halo Legends, he was a director and writer on some of them. However, to be 100% honest, they actual stories aren't that bad, save one *cough*prototype*cough*, its the rampant disregard for cannon the ruins them. Tensions between an ODST squad and a Spartan while on a mission? Neat. Early arbiter questions the covenant? Neat. Chief and Co. rescue a hostage Halsey? Neat. Forerunner history lesson? Neat. Spartan recruit runs away from the program, only to discover she's been replaced? Neat. Like I said, these are interesting stories, its just how they go about them that tends to ruin them. Also Japan, I have yet to see them pull off western things with out ruining them, no offense guys.
I enjoyed it. *shrug*
Oh man what they did to Halsey was terrible in Halo: Legends.
I just realized that Master Chief is 14 during FUD
Possible extended cut of the live action David Fincher trailer coming soon.
You know, Playing through all the Halo's so far (Currently on my Legendary ODST Run before 3) as made me realize that i love the Covey Carbine. And, ODST on Legendary isn't as bad as i imagined it to be.
Anyone else hope we hear/see rookie and his squad again?
Anyone else hope we hear/see rookie and his squad again?
Wouldn't by now they'd all be Spartan IVs?
Anyone else hope we hear/see rookie and his squad again?
It'd be cool if the squad was there discussing a mission and the rookie was sleeping in a corner somewhere.
Buck as a Spartan IV? Well, he must had got better.
It'd be cool if the squad was there discussing a mission and the rookie was sleeping in a corner somewhere.
That'd be pretty darned cool. Or if it was just, say, during a peaceful scene, there'd be just one ODST asleep in the corner with an SMG, no other clues, just so players would kinda stop and say "hey, that couldn't be him... Could it?"
Just think, pelican touches down, door opens and Buck hops out, deep in conversation Veronica, followed by Dutch and Romeo bickering about who knows what, with Rookie and Mikey bringing up the rear, Mikey yammering away. Hell, most of the marines we know and love could show up again as IVs. [editline]asda[/editline] I can see myself in your visor. Pretty.
I loved the Rookie. Such a bad ass. Important briefing stuff? Fuck that Imma nap.
I wonder what the dialogue for staring at a SIV would be. "I can see my visor in your visor. Pretty."
Important briefing stuff? Fuck that Imma nap.
And then get cut off from the squad in a covenant occupied city for 6 hours, and win.
Hmm, shall I get a XIM Edge sometime for Halo 4?
I found it funny in Halo 2 when the Gravemind transports you to the Prophet's chamber, they act like its no big deal. No-one seems worried that he just teleported into the room. The one Prophet tells them to kill them in a tone sounding like they were asking them to kill an ant.

"Sup." "Word."

Where do you think all those prisoners in High Charity's brig came from?
it would be so cool to see buck as a spartan 4 hell if he was any better he'd be a spartan :v:
Locked down my pre-order today. I am fucking excited.

I didn't realise he even said, "boo," the first time I played it, but when I did on a subsequent playthrough I almost literally pissed myself laughing.
