Yeah it leaves a timestamp in a record in your NAND. When you unplug the power from your xbox the clock get's reset. ;) As long as you don't take your xbox online until the actual release date there is no way to differentiate the timestamps.
I know what I'm doing. Also you can flash your NAND you silly goose. :p So if I had a NAND reader/writer I could save my current NAND, play Halo 4 offline and then restore my NAND.
How do you think JTAG/RGH users get online. They simply have a dual boot NAND (extra hardware of course).
My one main problem with the graphics is that the Spartan models make them look very thin layed and hollow while other game's Spartan models made them look very thick and hard.

I dont like how the difference between the Spartan's undersuit and amor plating is so pronounced this time around.
It looks like a bumpy wetsuit with metal bits glued on, whereas before it looked like a full suit of armor. It doesn't give me as much of a "power armor" vibe.
Not saying its [I]awful[/I], just that I don't like it as much.

Probably because one of the design philosophies this time around was, "no purple."
Which is a shame, actually. I realise they used it a lot in previous games, but I loved that! I haven't seen very many games ever that have had the balls to use so much god damned purple. It was a nice change from the norm.

looks to me like they're trying to give the new flood gamemode more of an atmosphere. all of those pictures look really dusty, kinda like the infection is spewing some gross ass chemicals or something into the air
When you play as Infected(Flood) you get this weird overlay that looks like your looking through the inside of an embryonic sac of fluid.

Oh god they are learning, very soon Tank flood forms will have shields, have mounted rocket launchers and be able to instant kill vehicles
Default flood classes are Thrusters, Cloak and I think Promethean Vision, not 100% on that last one I forgot.

That's what the Spartan armor is supposed to be like though, if anything it's more realistic. What I don't like about it is that the under-suit can be the same colour as your power armor, when it should be black. I think that is why the armor in MP looks so bright and sterile, because parts of the under-suit are just is vibrant as the power armor colour.

Yeah but I find that Halo: Reach did a great job with the whole metal plates in the under suite and the same goes for Halo 3 you just have to look for them.
