The modellers just messed up on them.

Personally, I don't care what the official explanation is. At least Gungnir looked like it had some kind of imaging thing on the front to project the outside image to the wearer. Most of these just look 2cool4u and have no clear way that the user can actually see.

I'm just going to assume that the last one is just a camera or something, because I doubt that they have any cyclopes in their training program. Holy shit ninja attack.
