Half of these helmets look silly. I could imagine the project manager beinng stuck in an elevator with the ideas guy who would not shut up about bad helmet designs until the project manager allowed the ideas.

Having a hard time deciding between Locus, Warrior, Scout and Engineer helmets.
Of course, most of what we've seen are either bad quality or from just one angle so I guess I shouldn't be thinking about this too much yet
I wonder if 343i modified the game engine to allow dlc armour sets. I'd go nuts for an ODST or Mark V set, hell I'd probably even pay for it depending on the price.

There will be DLC armour.
I know this is late, but maybe the helmets with minor visorage(?) have camers built into the suit to display the area around them, so it's like they're watching a video in the helm? Just a thought...

Can't really find the source but it was on one of those Gamestop cardboard things and it was talking about 2 Armour DLCs and armour specializations.
Too bad I've spent all my Microsoft Points on vibration related indie games.

Meh, they're a little weird but I'm okay with them. At least they're trying something. Most of them I like. I think they have an even balance of both wide and thin/tiny visor helmets. Again I'm a big fan of Locus.

the soldier, scout(which has always been my fav), rogue, stalker, and operator are honestly the only ones i could see myself wearing. all the others look like giant tumors

My favorite gun just got better, I always loved using it in Halo: Reach.
I was quite annoyed to find out they didnt use the GPMG version of the M247 from Halo 2 when they added the SAW though.
the SAW (i think that's what it's called in halo 4) i was kind of sceptical about when i first heard it would be in the game. but once i saw some videos of how insanely deadly that thing is at close range it looks like it's a good counter to a shotgun guy in close range, there weren't many of those in previous games. you can just backpedal and hold the trigger down for a few seconds until they die

[sp]Cortana splits her rampant personality into multiple AI to scramble the shields on the Halo installation then assimilates with the boss (Didact is his name?) and then he dies by falling into the weapon of the forerunner artifact attached to the installation (looks like a giant planet destroying black hole) that was going to be used to destroy earth. Master Chief detonates a nuke, as it explodes Cortana somehow, it isn't really explained, merges or something with Master Chiefs body to protect him from the explosion, some goodbyes are exchanged and then she touches him and fades away. Master Chiefs body is then picked up by the Infinity and then some more talking with Lasky about Cortana and then MC goes to have his armor removed and it cuts right after they remove his helmet. Then text from 343 industries saying "We hope you enjoyed our game and story etc.. this is only the beginning". [/sp]

I'm forcing myself not to read this because I'm hoping the real ending is better then what I've read.
I haven't heard what the ending was about, I've just heard it was melodramatic bullshit and a lot of people laughed at it.
