On a related note I think Hunters are my fave of all the covinent because they're so... unique. I just love finding out info about them.
Why does Halo 3 still look so beautiful but Halo Reach and Halo 4 don't come anywhere near?

I was going to draw rule 34 Hunter porn but I did some research on them and it turns out that they are a literally just a bunch of worm like creatures joined together.

Halo Reach is arguable, but Halo 4 is without a doubt better looking than Halo 3. The textures, the models, and especially the lighting make it way sexier.

Reading up on the Mgalekgolo (Hunter) and holy crap they are an extremely fascinating species. They are Hunters and Scarabs and probably many other crazy things in the Covenant arsenal. The Hunters are actually the smallest forms of them! And apparently in Reach the Hunters have forerunner symbols on their shoulders. Very intriguing.
I think we should make a new thread when Halo 4 comes out, or a week before it comes out.

Mainly all of the Covenant's arsenal is from forerunner tech. Wouldn't be surprised if some of the alloy mixture from the hunter's armor is a Forerunner recipe and/or metal.
Also did you know that in one incident that when the Covenant's first encounter with the hunters, the hunters main food supply was valuable forerunner artifacts?

You mean they ate forerunner tech? No that wasn't mentioned in the wiki. Crazy.
The hunters also decimated the covenant invasion forces during their first war. The only reason the covenant could assimilate them was because they could glass their planet.
They would of anally annihilated the Hunters' planet if the plannet didn't have forerunner tech on it.

If he hadn't done anything at all MC would have gotten there in about 30 seconds and he'd still be alive. Instead we got to see an elite deal with what was probably one of the least threatening things he's ever encountered.

If it wasn't for him the elite would have found the rest of the squad and by the time chief got there most or all of them would have been dead. Starting with Lasky.

The elite didn't see them, and has just been contacted via radio(from the sounds of things). When Vickers ran out, somebody called out his name when he got cut down.
Have we actually seen any Storm Hunters yet? Are they even IN halo 4?
I feel really bad for laughing at Vickers' death. It was just so fast and sudden and he did nothing.

Why are there Hunters in Storm? Before the Covenant they were a Tier 2 species and now the Prophets are dead.
