I have four classes the day its released.
I have work every day that week but the 6th.
No class til noon on that day. So I wont be completely devastated.
However it is a 2 mile walk to gamestop.
Finally finished The Thursday War, I cant wait for the conclusion.
I hope we get some sort of reference to Kilo-Five in the Reclaimer trilogy, I love them.
I hope it has more ties to the books in general. Hopefully characters like Blue team will show up, and maybe Grey team will make an appearance as a twist or something. And hopefully they don't do it just to kill them off. For far too long the games built around MC have had him as the last Spartan.

Frankie hinted at Blue Team when he said "not in Halo 4" I'd love to see Blue Team, I wonder if the S-IIIs, if they do choose to get the S-IVs augmentations are superior to the Spartan IVs because of their existing augmentations.
I'm hoping Gray Team gets wrapped up, they've been left in the dark. Even if its just one sentence in a book saying, oh by the way Grey Team finally made it back into UNSC space.

I hope in Halo 5 or 6 or even one of the new books we hear about The Spirit of Fire and if it made it back to normal space. Hell that'd be a cool way of introducing the Flood if they needed to.
someone who played the game on the halo subreddit was saying they have tons of referances to the other games and quite a few of the books and was saying that it would be a great idea to read Cryptum to have a full understanding of stuff

No need for spoiler tags. But the Arbiter went to the forward section of the FUD, where he made it past the threshold of the portal and right back to earth.

Because he is the most badass cigar chompin' marine in space.
He was in the Spartan 1 program, and received some form of augmentations(nothing like what the later generations got) which had a side effect of making it impossible for flood to interact with his nervous system. He escaped on a Pelican with a few others.
How did he even survive the blast.
There wasn't a pelican in sight and he was feeling up an alien at the time of the blast.

In First Strike he hugs an elite then runs off to a pelican but I have no idea how he beats the Chief to Earth in Halo 3.
