They probably flew out when the ship was torn in half.
Remember, the ship had oxygen in it before it was torn in half.
A ship with oxygen gets torn in half, oxygen and everything in it flies out of the ship into the vacuum pretty quickly to equalize the pressure between the ship (That has air pressure) and the vacuum outside (No pressure).

Also why the hell do so many people hate ODST, I think it had one of the best campaigns.

Overpriced IMO, considering the fact that it's campaign was kind of short and it had repacked Halo 3 multiplayer we already got and played with Halo 3, along with the DLCs most of us had already bought.

Considering the fact ODST was damn near the definition of the "Retail map-pack" gag that we've been applying to COD for the past 5 years it should have been 40 dollars instead like Halo Anniversary.

At my local store it was £30 which is about $45. So I didnt feel that ripped off by what I got.

i think youre talking about the plasma repeater, the plasma rifle is the same as it was in halo 3 afaik

I think it was to make a weapon more in kin with the Plasma Rifle, and if so why didn't they include a SMG too?
the Plasma Repeater feels more like a MG than a rifle or SMG to me, the plasma rifle needs to return to it's RIFLE feel that it had in Halo 1, that thing was a beast...

Plasma rifle is worse in reach, it seems they really wanted to get the repeater out there
and the Spiker is also treated as a plasma weapon in reach...
The Spiker is so underused, which is a shame because it's fun

Seems like Halo 4's UI is going to be a bit larger than before, ala ODST, assuming the screen behind him his the multiplayer lobby.
