I've kind of forgotten about this since the first video documentary. Anything new and notworthy that has popped up since then?
So how many MAC guns do you think the Infinity has? Its the largest UNSC ship so far, id imagine theyd attach more than one. The UNSC destroyer was the same size as a frigate and that had 2 MACs.
I don't know how I feel about quick time events being in Halo 4. I guess I can just hope that they are done well.
I don't know how I feel about quick time events being in Halo 4. I guess I can just hope that they are done well.
Wait what Where are people getting these things like "First person cutscenes" and QTEs from? They haven't been mentioned anywhere in anything
Wait what Where are people getting these things like "First person cutscenes" and QTEs from? They haven't been mentioned anywhere in anything
Some magazine recently did a report on Halo 4 and mentioned quick time events. http://www.gamepro.de/xbox/spiele/xbox-360/halo-4/artikel/halo_4,47053,2566911.html Horrible translation of the particular sentence:
Once the hand from slipping by the Chief, he stumbles and can cling only by repeated button-pressing again - Quicktime events are so well in Halo's fourth
I'm fine with slight button-smashing in first-person cinematics, sure the game would be better without but things like that don't exactly affect my purchase decision.
Really? Quick Time Events? They are not needed. Leave the bloody things out. They are more annoying than good.
Multiplayer Impressions http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2012/04/20/halo-4-multiplayer-hands-on-impressions.aspx
Am I the only one who likes QuickTime events?
Really? Quick Time Events? They are not needed. Leave the bloody things out. If its just "You didnt press the right button so you have to do it again" then they're just fucking annoying.

Basicly that, I can live with a different outcome if i didnt notice there would be a QTE, but when i see a cutscene the first thing i think of is "put the controler down on the desk and watch it".
I still remember searching halo 2, trying to get the giant soccer ball, and look up all the super jumps.
I still remember searching halo 2, trying to get the giant soccer ball, and look up all the super jumps.
I always tried to find this thing called the Baby Gun or whatever. I read about it on some back alley cheat site a decade ago that's probably been turned into a real estate advertiser by now. The details are fuzzy, but the basic premise is: Step 1: Load up Outskirts. Step 2: Find a Grunt wearing a Batman costume(why did I believe this). He will tell you about a lamb in a secret room. Step 3: Find said lamb in said hidden room. Step 4: Shoot the lamb. It will explode and rockets will fly in all directions. Step 5: You now possess the Baby Gun. It shoots infant corpses at things. Another cheat from the same site claimed that on the level Cairo Station, if you walk up to a specific plant and stare at it for an hour, "Master Cheef will ate the plant and go crazy!!" What a moron.
So is grasslands worth reading? Is Thel involved at all in halo 4 by the way?
The sole thing I'll ever be worried about is the loadout things. I know they reassured us that a new player would still be on the same level as someone who is more distinguished, but I'm simply wondering how it'll work.
So is grasslands worth reading? Is Thel involved at all in halo 4 by the way?
Its a good book both as a sequel to Ghosts of Onyx and a standalone story, and will get you hyped for Halo 4.

Did they actually have a scarab gun in halo 2 or was that whole thing a fake?
Did they actually have a scarab gun in halo 2 or was that whole thing a fake?
They did have one, try it for yourself if you don't believe it. It was a bitch to get, and it took me quite some hours, but when I finally got up there it was the most awesome thing in the entire game.
Did they actually have a scarab gun in halo 2 or was that whole thing a fake?
You would get an achievement for getting it on Halo 2 Vista. That and the achievement were you play every single stock game mode on every single stock map with at least 4 other people took forever to get
Why does the map at 2:33 look just like Narrows?
Why does the map at 2:33 look just like Narrows?
The textures and look of the map have resemblance.

The other two you don't hear about as often, probably because they're a lot harder to obtain. http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Scarab_gun (Like the rest of the Halo wiki, the above article is a mess. But, it does have some information on the other two Scarab guns, so if you're willing to dig through it and pick out the comprehensible bits... It's there.)

Ahaha, I got a kick out of this.
It is known that SPARTAN-B312 was taken out of Beta Company immediately after training in May 2545, two months before Operation: TORPEDO.[6]
Oh Bungie, you so crazy.
Ahaha, I got a kick out of this. Oh Bungie, you so crazy.
That's Noble Six, right?
Indeed [editline]22nd April 2012[/editline] Wait, what? Halo book buffs, when did this happen?
Unknown time: The survivors of the Battle of Installation 04 arrive at Reach, having experienced a temporal anomaly caused by a Forerunner crystal, sending them nearly two weeks into the past.

Indeed [editline]22nd April 2012[/editline] Wait, what? Halo book buffs, when did this happen?
First Strike. I tried to put that out of my mind :v:.
Made some Halo 4 avatars [editline]22nd April 2012[/editline] I would've extracted just the helmet but I tried and it looked like poopy. [editline]22nd April 2012[/editline] I'll try making some of the Spartan IVs. Man, I'm like the source of this thread's Halo 4 imagery media stuff. [editline]22nd April 2012[/editline] Wow, the people/commentors on Neoseeker are actually pretty fucking cool.
