Armor lock. :(
Sandbox was my favourite Forge-centered map.
Sandbox was my favourite Forge-centered map.
woah your new avatar is so MLG
Sandbox was my favourite Forge-centered map.
If you send me the full sized version of your avatar I'll add transparency. That goes for all of you, I'm not great at Photoshop but I can make some cool avatars.
If we do customs let me know, got some slayer/objective maps I'd like to test.
I fixed Stealth Mission to end when the attacker is killed. Downside is that I can't have two attackers now. Best I could do, lol. [editline]5th May 2012[/editline] Wait, another idea. I'll keep you guys posted.
So, you planning any custom games tonight?
I might need to test some Stealth Mission later.
woah your new avatar is so MLG
I thought that it applied to me because I have Pestilence and Mark V, but it's showing up as my old avatar Norm...
If you send me the full sized version of your avatar I'll add transparency. Pestilence is gross imo.
Pestilence is gross imo.
On the contrary, it's an extremely accurate declaration of a players devotion to the game. "I've been playing for so long and failed to wash so many times that I wear a halo of flies, and my breath is actually slightly green"
I have Pestilence, you're making me feel bad :(
i still like inclement weather the most. [editline]7th May 2012[/editline] I'll never be able to afford it though.
i still like inclement weather the most. [editline]7th May 2012[/editline] I'll never be able to afford it though.
Inclement Weather is overrated dung and it looks SILLY. Pestilence gives you green blood. It is delicious.
The fuck you all on about, grunts birthday party is the only armour effect that matters...

Anyone up for Halo 3 Stealth Mission soon?
Frankie's posts about the 1-50 rank system, if anyone cares: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=37645764&postcount=16363 http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=37645428&postcount=16348
eugh, I never personally liked the Armour effects, it felt a bit immersion breaking for me, the only one I could bear was either the hearts or the birthday party one...
eugh, I never personally liked the Armour effects, it felt a bit immersion breaking for me, the only one I could bear was either the hearts or the birthday party one...
It seems like the whole concept of multiplayer in a halo game is immersion breaking, but thats just me.
It seems like the whole concept of multiplayer in a halo game is immersion breaking, but thats just me.
As the series has gone on, the multiplayer became more avant garde, catering towards the fun factor instead of immersion. Though, I feel like Reach found a really nice balance. Invasion felt solid as an immersive objective game.
What I dont get about Invasion is, why are we defending the NAV data when Cole Protocol states that it must be wiped?
Probably defending it until it can be wiped safely/fully.
Probably defending it until it can be wiped safely/fully.
Touche
immersive objective game.
Really was immersive for me when my allies pile dived with vehicles over the flags/cores so the other team couldn't get it without pushing aside the debris of warhogs and tanks :v:
Probably defending it until it can be wiped safely/fully.
Still doesn't make sense. Why software wipe it when you could just smash it or something else to destroy the storage medium.
Still doesn't make sense. Why software wipe it when you could just smash it or something else to destroy the storage medium.
Well NAV data has always been wiped as opposed to destroyed. Not like it mattered anyway in the end they still found earth without the humans NAV data.
Still doesn't make sense. Why software wipe it when you could just smash it or something else to destroy the storage medium.
Making sure of it, probably. It's possible the Covenant can salvage something from the remnants. If the core is wiped and then destroyed, that's impossible.
Bungie just posted the Halo 3 trailers on their YouTube account ten minutes ago. A bit late.
Making sure of it, probably. It's possible the Covenant can salvage something from the remnants. If the core is wiped and then destroyed, that's impossible.
In the single player campaign there's a blast furnace in the room right behind where the core is stored in Invasion. Good luck getting nav data off a molten hard drive :V
