also if it is a new suit what's that claw mark doing there
also if it is a new suit what's that claw mark doing there
Good find, it's probably his old suit, but upgraded, seeing as his old suit had damage at the exact same spot.
I present to you,

Master Chief of Halo 4.
Picture doesn't work for me.
It's a prototype.
The design looks interesting, but those shoulder plates need to be moved to his actual shoulder and he needs something to make sure he doesn't walk out of combat with a significantly higher voice.
Wow, Sword Base and Friendly Fire have been removed from the Infection playlist. It's finally...perfect.
Wow, Sword Base... been removed from the Infection play list...
Happy about the friendly fire.
Why did they remove Sword Base from Infection?
It felt like that was the most popular map.

lol I was reading the comments on the Feb update on halo.xbox.com

What happened to all the 343 Love from the fanboys?

It was, because everyone could camp in the lift and basically survive forever.

Only ever happened 1/5 matches whenever I played.
Only ever happened 1/5 matches whenever I played.
For me it happened all the time. It was actually quite interesting, because sometimes the more dickish survivors would shove you into the lift to provide a distraction so they could run away.
It was frustrating when they'd do that, because more often than not you'd survived a lot of shit and the round was nearing the end. Normally if they kept their cool and didn't run out of ammo you'd survive perfectly fine, so I never entirely got why people would do that.
Plus if they had some ~l33t sk1ll5~ a couple people could normally jump up to that ramp-y bit on the wall to the left, and they were basically impossible to get down.

They removed the ramp with soft kill barriers, and I remember having loads of fun betraying survivors camping in the lift and generally pissing them off by shooting them, often resulting in them betraying innocent bystanders :v:

There was a gamefails or Fails of the Weak video that had exactly that.
[editline]14th February 2012[/editline]
I couldn't find that specific video, but I found this one
The day this was uploaded I went and tried it, basically the same thing happened, we sat around taunting each other then I decked him. But I think I may have been a Zombie not a survivor.

What exactly did they tweak about the camo? did they make it worse? because it is already underpowered and fairly hard to use anyway because of it's radar jamming effect, when I'm going after camo'd dudes, or what not I will slow down and revert hunting the cloaked person, Camo has limited usefulness in most maps and game modes, which is further hindered by how weak it is....
I personally hate Pinnacle on Infection. Everyone just runs to the tower and the zombies spend half the game getting raped.

That map was removed months ago, thankfully.

For HPC players, IDK if you guys know much about open sauce yet but it opens a whole new world of opportunities for Halo Custom Edition. Things like actual Dual wielding with any 2 weapons(not faked) and vehicle boarding, as well as a bunch of nice new shading capabilities like bloom, Depth of field, and Motion blur, or even model-based shaders like this:

Somebody even made a prototype of a working forge map, though it's very WIP.
Rough implementation of boarding

Oh good, I havent played Halo is quite some time.
I so want a Halo 2 remake.
Failing that coop over live - give me that and I'll love you.
A bit of insight on Chief's H4 armor in this week's Weekly Bulletin: http://halo.xbox.com/blogs/Headlines/post/2012/02/15/The-Halo-Bulletin-21512.aspx
I really love how they're trying their best to fit novel canon into the game.
And I really like this:
One of the Master Chief’s most notable physical characteristics is that he’s wearing 800 pounds of tank and jet fighter. So we pulled that design into the armor and HUD. When you play Halo 4, it’s important you understand that you’re more than just a gun on the screen. To give you that feeling, we have represented that weight with player physics, without interrupting crosshair and shooting accuracy.
I just hope theres a good reason its different.
Whats Glasslands like does anybody know?

Great read, especially if you've read Ghosts of Onyx.
I asked that in the first page but never got an answer :(

Fair enough, guess ill pick it up tomorrow.
Contact: Harvest is really good as well. It's about the very first contact with the covenant and the glassing of Harvest, a colonial planet at the edge of UNSC space. Johnson was there, too, and it really portrays the Covenant as something more than just the faceless antagonist. Basically, the reason we went to war in the first place was a series of lies in misdirectives starting with the Prophets not realizing that the forerunner artifacts they had scanned were humans.
I didn't really like Contact: Harvest, it felt so small-scale for some reason.
Woah Halo Mods changed their skin

Very Halo 2

Comments on halo.xbox.com make me rage
It just felt like I was playing a COD game with a halo skin.
How the hell does Halo Reach feel like cod at ALL. He has probably never played CoD if he thinks that.
Also half of them are saying "Make Halo 4 more like 2 and 3!"

People are fucking stupid. They compare it to COD so the people who hated Reach and hate COD will all lick their ass in agreement.
I'm getting tired of all the 'lolReach' and 'Halo Reach was a bad game: FACT' bullshit. That's why I don't go to the Waypoint forums anymore.

If you ignore the multiplayer and compare the campaign alone to the rest of the Halo franchise then, by comparison, Reach DID suck. But that's only by comparison. On its own merit alone it was a pretty decent game.
You can't really say the campaign was bad though, it was terrible story wise, but gameplay it was one of the most solid Halo games of time, it understood itself enough to let you enjoy it.
