Well I see the synergy ending effects of ME3 have caused the phantoms and banshee's to merge with the crew :v:
There was a Halo 4 ad at half-time for the England vs France match. Only about 3 seconds of new footage though.
I really hope there's a mission where you fight through the infinity after it crashes, where you try and reach the bridge, like a reverse version of the pillar of autumn mission from halo 1
Bunch of MP footage here

Well, its MLG, but its still MP footage.

I don't know if you guys have discussed about the Covies' in H4, but i have theory:
The covenants in Halo 4 uses worn-out and modified armour ---> Wich could mean that they've been stuck on that planet for a long time, hence they attack chief, wich itself could mean that they do not know that the war is over.
Agree? Disagree?

its already been said that the covies in this game are part of a break off group from the elites who still hate humans (see glasslands book for full story)
I did not know that, also i haven't read any of the books, something you guys recommend?
The books.
Thanks to being raised on American date structure, when I saw the video had the release as 6/11/12, I had to scratch my head for a few seconds in confusion.

All of them are pretty darn good.
still want brutes in halo 4, with brute weaponry (teardrop)
still want brutes in halo 4, with brute weaponry (teardrop)
It's unlikely we'll see them. The Brutes were bombed back to the stone age by the Elites, and any survivors took care to make sure they were unable to reclaim their mantle.

343i also said that the Covies believe one of their gods is on Requiem.

Why do you guys still have that weird system, and the baffling imperial system? It makes no sense to me.

Because it's probably based off of dates which are written like "November 6, 2012", which would be 11/6/12
Everything in the E3 Halo 4 demo was in-engine, btw.

We don't worry about it. I don't think you should, either.
I'm Canadian and I write using MM/DD/YYYY for the reason KingKombat stated.
Makes more sense to me.

Even the live action? Sweet.

I didn't realize that live action skits were demos now.
Halo 4 will rediscover the "awe and wonder" of Halo: Combat Evolved
"Sense of exploration" is key to Master Chief's fourth chapter
Halo 4 is a return to the pioneering days of Halo: Combat Evolved, says 343's Frank O'Connor, with no guarantees as to what you'll discover once you step off the plane.
"I think the number one thing, and there was unanimous agreement in the studio, was that sense of exploration and awe and wonder that you had when you first tumbled out of the Bumblebee onto the surface of Halo in the first game," O'Connor told VentureBeat.
"And it was deliberate, of course...you'd been playing this pretty awesome sci-fi shooter in a very claustrophobic starship, which is a pretty normal thing to do in a video game," he went on. "And then you find yourself in this incredible alien place, and you look up in the sky, and you see the other side of the Halo, and you think, 'I want to go there.' That's what we wanted to bring back."

Halo 4 is set on, or rather within Requiem - a hollow artificial planet which houses Forerunner artefacts and devices. Expect a certain amount of trouble from the latter as you trot around with your jaw flapping.
The multiplayer is also true to the spirit of the classic, despite its new-fangled innovations. "A moment I remember very vividly... It was just this one game of Slayer we were playing months ago, and it all clicked. Even my new control scheme. And I felt this is totally Halo. But the stuff that's new is perfectly attached, and it also feels like Halo.
"And we were planning it and building it, but it's not real yet, right? But the second it's real, and the second all the pieces are together, and you play a mission with real fiction in it, you're like, I get it. I get why this did this. This was the right call."
I was under the impression that any game shown off at E3 was running on beef'd up PC's.

In the UK we tend to write 6th November 2012

Those seem the most logical to me, seeing as it ramps up in actual length.
So I get the general idea with Reach that each member of the Noble team dies noble deaths, but what about Cat? She was just walking around and got shot by a needler rifle (Which managed to pierce her shields and armour in one shot, which was all I could think about when watching that scene)

We do that in Australia too. I prefer the format described in ISO 8601 though, which is "YYYY-MM-DD", the order is pretty obvious and it allows easy sorting on computers.

Her shields were down from EMP or whatever

A radiation flare but yeah.

I'm more interested in Jun and Halsey.
