I have a question that I've wondered on since the release of Halo 2;
If the forerunners fired the Halo array ca. 100 000 years ago, wouldn't all sentient life on earth be gone, homo sapiens included?

Some of it was preserved by the forerunners, and was placed back in the universe after the Halo's were fired.

All forerunners did die in the firing, along with everything else - they just restored everyone afterwards, like covenant, humans, other races we don't know of - everyone but themselves they restored after it fired.

Yeah I haven't been following Halo for a while, what's new on Halo 4? I saw the possible leaked screenshot, a concept art video and the CGI trailer, what else is new?

Aw damnit, I liked Marty's music better then what's in the video. This sounds more... "games typical" if you may.
The Marty music was so unique and perhaps - in my opinion - the best music of any game I've ever heard. The Halo OST is the only OST I have on my Spotify playlist.

First one looke like a Halo: Custom Edition map, second is an obvious photoshop (see the Halo Wars Elite in the background?), and the third one contains Halo:Reach FP arms (not saying they couldn't be placeholder, but I doubt it.)

I removed the second one before you quoted it because I placed it amongst the two others by accident. The second one was a proven fake.
The Reach arms could be placeholders, but there's nothing really to indicate that these are fake, just like the leaked Reach screenshots that turned out to be real and the leaked Halo 3 screenshots that turned out to be real.
And there was a 343 staff member who said she would try to sneak out some stuff if she could.
Well the footage from the 343 video is not Reach, the assault rifle does not have the raised screen and its solid, its clear enough to tell in the zoomed vid.
Plus they have Dev stuff up on the screen, but then again that could be someone working on Playlist updates.
But something about just screams to me not Halo Reach
Yes, they could be real, but I have a different feeling about these ones than I did with the Reach screenshots. I'm going for fake for now.
The corners of the screen, looks like the heltmet is physically there like in the Metroid prime games.
The blood in the second one looks like it's from Half Life 2...

Well it is for the 360, and it is still in alpha. It'd figure if it wasn't polished and shoe-shined at the moment.

Sentinels, presumably. Also, not [B]all[/B] the Forerunners died. At least, it seems that way. It's uncertain, but there's this impression that some lifeworkers under the Librarian did survive on the Ark just long enough to oversee the reseeding process.
More likely, though, it was just Sentinels and AIs.
