After playing the fuck out of Reach (Campaign and Multiplayer) I got CE Anniversary today. It's my first time playing CE and it's awesome. I've been keeping the graphics in classic mode to really play it like the original.

As a Halo enthusiast since day 1, it is my personal opinion that it's unnecessary to do that. You will get the same experience playing the game with the improved visuals, perhaps an even better one. The gameplay itself is identical, just better looking. Just my opinion though, not trying to tell ya what to do.

Forerunner tech looks so much better with the new graphical magic, and you miss out on terminals and skulls (Terminals tell you story stuff so they're fairly important)

I enjoyed the Anniversaries visuals and immersion much more than I enjoy playing CE over again. It's like rediscovering the wonder and awe that captivated my mind back in 2001, all over again.

Basically this, the only reason you would play it in classic mode is if you have played Halo: Combat Evolved before. And if I want to play in classic mode I just switch to Halo: PC.

For example I saw one the other day where some kid was saying that Halo was a game for "scrubs"and that Black ops 2 is miles better. He then proceeded to go on about how he was on the marines and ho he was taught to Quickscope IRL.
